Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Western Europe

The old forge is a beautiful cottage in a great location. the attention to detail in the house and little touches really make it feel extra special. Zoe and family have clearly put a lot of thought in to the house to make it feel welcoming. The cottage has everything you need if you're staying in, the little courtyard garden has mediterranean feel to it. In terms of location, it's right in the centre of ross on wye and no need to use your car at all as plenty of walks from the house if that's what you like. would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend.

We had a great stay . The house was super cute and the perfect amount of space for two people. We were fortunate that it snowed while we were there and was so beautiful. It’s very close to restaurants and the hot springs but still far enough away that it felt private and quiet. We would stay there again for sure.

Comfortable place to stay. Andre was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The home was very nice and comfortable.

Michael's place was a great jump off for hiking, waterfalls and local points of interest. The cabin was peaceful, quiet and serene. The screened in porch and hammock swing were our favorites. Internet worked very well.

I have never stayed at a more well stocked rental. If you forgot anything, no worries, she probably has it in the house! Joan left some very thoughtful, personal touches like having the heated blanket turned on for me when I arrived, a bowl of treats, etc. My favorite part is a tie between the gorgeous claw foot soaking tub which I used every night, and the beautiful view of the mountains from a large picture window. The location was really beautiful, and had a grocery store and multiple gas stations within a few miles of the house. The only thing that kept it from being perfect, was the spotty wifi, which is understandable in the mountains, but all the lighting was hooked to Google, so Google either didn't understand, or the wifi kept failing for the commands. It just seemed it took 5x as long to turn on a lamp, than simply turning the switch. I ended up unhooking the one in the bedroom during my stay. I would highly recommend this rental, and Joan is an amazing host.

We had a nice relaxing stay in a nice neighborhood. A little girl from the neighborhood waved to us as we pulled in. Just wish it hadn't rained so much so we could enjoy the pool. There was quite a variety of food and shopping within a short distance. I would highly recommend this for friends and family.

We stayed 3 months at Anh’s home and it was a great home away from home. Location is great! Just a few minutes from Katy Asian Town and close to playgrounds, etc for my son. The house is clean and spacious, with all the amenities listed. I appreciated the sunroom with the treadmill and stationary bike. Anh is super responsive and helpful to my request and there were plenty of towels/blankets/sheets. I really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay here again!

We loved our time at this beautiful cottage! We have been to lots of Airbnb’s, and most have been a good experience. This cottage was something more. We both felt instantly relaxed when we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable. We slept great in the comfy bed. The pictures can’t describe the feeling of the place. Warm, cozy, peaceful, inspiring, comfortable, quiet and truly rejuvenating. I will be making a trip to the area again as soon as possible, just to stay in this cabin retreat.

You will not be disappointed with this RB&B. With all accommodations, cleanliness, and the location of open space along the mountain range, and only miles away from the highway made it easy access to the mountains, or the Denver area. There is a park you can walk to with trails along the front range that go for miles. This location offers incredible views of the mountains that go on forever. Moreover, the host had excellent communication from start to finish that made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. This RB&B was a fantastic experience frim start to finish.

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth thanks to the clear and detailed instructions. The host was always available and responsive to any questions I had, making my stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!

The photos do not do justice to the beauty of this place!! Every detail in this apartment has been thought out for convenience and function!! The view in the photos for the location are not nearly as breathtaking as they are in person. The nightly view of the stars from the hot tub will make this a memorable retreat!! I hope you get to enjoy this lakeside gem!

Merci à Rob pour son accueil. L'appartement est situé en pleine zone piétonne. Toutes les commodités sont à 5 minutes à pied maximum ! Appartement en enfilade, il y a de l'espace.

This was our second stay here and we do love it very much and will continue to return as often as possible.

Fabulous stay and hope we get back to Bay City so we can come back. In town for a bowling tournament and we had both main floor suites and it was perfect for us. The sitting room, with its huge TV, was a great place for our group to hang out after a day of bowling. The dining room chairs made our nightly cribbage games extra comfy. Beds were great! The housecoats were a thoughtful touch. If you are looking for a memorable location with tons of character and special touches this is your spot!

Super endroit pour des vacances paisibles ! Emplacement au top avec le centre accessible à pied à 2 pas ! La maison est très agréable à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur, avec un jardin clos idéal pour les enfants. Super literie en prime pour des vacances reposantes ! Merci encore pour ce séjour !

Todo bien estuvo muy bien. Ana fue muy accesible en todo momento. La casa cómoda y muy bien ubicada.

El lugar supera incluso las fotos, vale cada centavo que pagas por estar alla. Super bonito, y tranquilo, con muchas actividades y espacios para toda la familia. Ademas, el personal de cocina (Carolina y compañia) son muy amables y proactivos, tanto asi que se hacen querer rapidamente por la familia. Volveria sin pensarlo 2 veces.

If I could give more than 5 to the place and the host I would! Although we caught a late ferry, which was even an hour late, Kostas met us at the port and came with us to show us the house. The pictures in airbnb dont do it justice- it was wonderful and authentic! It is surrounded by the most amazing gardens and it has a small private beach a few meters away. Overall a magical place! ❤️

Cet endroit est le paradis sur terre ! Cette région est une magnifique découverte ! Le lieu est paisible, agréable et fabuleux ! La maison est confortable et avec tous les équipements nécessaires. La vue est merveilleuse et le coucher du soleil sur la piscine est extraordinaire ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, nous n’avions vraiment pas envie de partir. Perdu en pleine nature, ce lieu est époustouflant! Nous avons été accueillis par Paolo qui a toujours été très réactif et de bons conseils. Souriant et serviable, c’est agréable d’être reçu aussi bien. Merci pour ce moment hors du temps 😉☀️🇮🇹

Very nice area. You need a car iv you want to go outside the house. Clean , big and a nice swimminv pool. House and pool cleaned well twice a week. Clear instructions and warm welcome. O time and clear appointments when leaving the house.
