The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

You can park the car & not touch it until it’s time to leave for home at the end of your stay.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Granary is in a rural location within the national park, near a quiet beach 2 miles from Bootle village. The Granary is attached to an old threshing barn and to the farmhouse at Little Annaside. The accommodation has been converted retaining original beams and features. There is an en suit bedroom with a double bed and stunning views of the Irish Sea and Lakeland fells. A staircase leads to kitchen/dining area and a sitting room.
