Wow. What a fabulous find. I think this wonderful airbnb was better than the description. We loved our stay and the home had everything we could have needed. So grateful to the owners for making it available so we and others can also enjoy their lovely holiday home.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. Thank you for blessing us with your kindness and little slice of New Zealand!

This was a fantastic location and place to stay for the family Wedding the community hall. The place is huge, and we had x7 staying. Great outdoor seating and a relaxing environment. We called Tims sister to help us figure out how to use the oven and she was super helpful. Thank you for a great stay and shaping family memories.

Lovely idyllic spot right next to the water. Checkin was easy and very friendly. The fresh bread, eggs and fruit were a real bonus!

Cally is an excellent host with clear communication for the duration of our stay, the house was immaculate and very comfortable, definitely your home away from home, the views from the lounge are superb looking out over the water and catching the amazing sunsets, I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and hopefully I'll be back one day 😊

Beautifully presented bach with stunning views from the bedrooms and the decks. We loved waking to the birdsong every morning and checking the surf from our bed. Kuaotunu beach is lovely with something for everyone and the surrounding beaches are all worth exploring too. Steffi had very thoughtfully opened the windows for us as it was a hot day when we arrived, and there is a grunty fan to keep cool at nights. Highly recommend this beautiful wee house.

Great little place. Ideal couples or small families. Poor weather spoilt our trip so didn’t get to make the most of it.

We loved our time at this waterfront home. So far it’s our favourite place of all the places we’ve visited in New Zealand. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and the location right on the ocean with amazing views and direct beach access was absolutely fabulous. Karin was an amazing host. Great communication. She had an excellent coffee maker and provided the coffee beans and she also left us a gift of wine. The place is well stocked and really worked well for our multi-family stay.

Location was fantastic, and the waterfront sunrise view was beautiful, and a great way to start your day! Enjoyed spending time on the porch. Self check in process was easy, and having a dedicated parking spot right at the stairwell was a huge convenience. Amenities were excellent & the space itself was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated Donna’s quick responses and willingness to accommodate our needs on short notice. Her hospitality truly made a difference in our experience.

The place was beautiful inside and out and served as a great home base from which to explore the beauty of the Coromandel. We had a fantastic time and it was an easy drive to Auckland for our flight home. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful place by the beautiful beach. Very quiet, calm and relaxing environment. Sue was lovely and accommodating and made our stay more worth while. Would highly recommend!

This is a great location on the canal front with a view straight down the waterway facing north.The property has its own water access boat/jet ski launching ramp and pontoon which is really convenient. The pool ,spa and deck areas get plenty of sun and great views. The house was very tidy and larger than expected with plenty of areas for privacy if anyone needed that. The kitchen is equipped with all thats expected in a home to cook for a family group and theres a second fridge and kitchenette to use which is helpful. We would come back again for sure.

Amy’s house is stunning, the photos don’t do it justice, a really luxurious stay. It is less than a minutes walk on the beach, and the outside shower is a real bonus when coming back sandy, great design!location wise as well as being practically on the beach, all the town cafes and blackies are easily walkable. Outside space is amazing - pool, bar and hot tub, sofa seating all around the house in both sun and shade, and great dining space inside and out. All bedrooms had comfy mattresses and bedding, clean spacious bathrooms. Generous office Desk space and WiFi was strong. Useful to be able to put our bikes in the garage for safety. Amy was responsive and proactive at making sure we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Finally, must mention the whole home smells like a luxury resort, together with all the tropical planting outside it was like a holiday somewhere exotic!

Very nice and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Overlooking a park and the marina, it’s an easy walk to everything. Great balcony for lounging, heated pool if you want a swim and hot tub to relax after hiking. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby.

Really loved our stay here and which we had booked for longer. Pods were very charming and perfect for a little trip. The receptionist offered us free milk for the morning which was super lovely. We had all the necessary facilities and more- surprised by a webber attached on our deck which made our stay! Would definitely recommend and super good for the price. Thank you!!!!

Lovely, peaceful spot. We stayed here to go for the stargazing & astronomy tour nearby. Clean, comfortable and a short walk to nearby shops. Really good shower pressure & amenities. Would recommend.

We love Otama beach, and our group loved this place which is so much more than meets the eye. Communicative host, a welcoming property within a minute of a fantastic beach. Thanks for having us!

Good location and liked being across the road from the beach to go for a swim. Pub short walking distance for a meal. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. Nice wee place

Lovely modern home on river by beach. Beautiful, quiet. Enjoyed kayaking from house to house wish we stayed longer!

Look no further!!! James and Michele thought of every detail!! We rode over 50 miles on the e-bikes, took the kayaks out on the river, used the shovels to dig hot pools on the beach, and slept perfectly on the most comfortable bed each night!! Their hospitality is unmatched and we would love to stay here again. I still can’t believe all of the gear we needed was included with the stay. Don’t miss the sunrise on the beach for hot pools. James and Michele leave the perfect instructions with how to locate the pools and how to make sure with get the best temperatures. We loved using the kitchen. It didn’t feel like a tiny home with the large open windows and the way they laid out the space. We were also super thankful for the washer and dryer in the home. There’s a coffee shop within walking distance and several great places to eat near by. We loved how easy it was to access cormondel! Thank you!!!

We were in awe when we arrived to the house! Such a beautiful location and so peaceful. We absolutely loved our stay.

Enjoy the amazing view from this house on the cliff! When looking through the glass of the accordion doors, it feels like you are on a ship at sea. The main view is all ocean and sky. Open the wall of doors to let in the breeze and relax to the sound of the waves. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. The deck above the ocean gets sunshine all day. If you crave shade, sit in the lounge and keep the doors open. You’ll love the perfect balance of indoor/outdoor living. If you arrive at night, you might find it a little tricky to find the house until you realize that the gravel driveway is hidden behind trees and brush just past the end of the paved road. At first, it might look like there is only one house on the driveway until you take the hairpin turn to the right to drive down the slope. If there are no cars parked at the first house, take the opportunity to turn your car around so you won’t need to back up the gravel driveway to exit.

The most magnificent house with the most beautiful view. There is so much to see and do. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. We enjoyed the boat tour and the hot beach where you dig a hole in the sand and make your own little pool of hot water. Friendly people all over town. Had a wonderful time!
