The Noddle is a lovely, eco-friendly home on the peaceful, stunning island of Hoy, overlooking Scapa Flow. The house is full of natural light and heated by a Wood Burner + Air Source Heating. The garden leads to it's own Beach, perfect for paddle-boarding, beach- combing and swimming. The land includes a woodland area, wild flowers and river frontage all within 6 acres. Wild life includes: Orca's, Otters, Hen Harriers, Sea Eagles, Seals + many sea birds. On clear nights stars adorn the heavens.

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. Torran Cottage is nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flow Country! Whilst superbly modernised throughout, the cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings.
