Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wicomico County

If you are looking for a place to stay that is peaceful, beautiful, and an outdoorsman’s dream…. this is it! My family of 10 stayed here comfortably and enjoyed every minute. It was a little chilly to enjoy all of the amenities, but we had a great time fishing and exploring the property. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Wow. The pictures don't do this place justice -- at all. What an extraordinary layout, especially for larger groups who all enjoy a bit of personal space and quiet. There are nooks and spots for everyone and everything, from the awesome pool area to the endless spots to sit and read a book or enjoy some coffee. And Ann! What a gem. She bent over backwards to answer questions and make us feel at home, even providing us with special coffee and food recommendations. I've been using Airbnb for a while now -- and Ann is the #1 host I've ever come across. I mean...she's a joy. Her place, of course, is amazing and you'd be a fool not to stay! 10 Stars!

Quaint house in a beautiful established neighborhood. Lovely front porch and back deck to enjoy time outside. hot tub was great. Nice walk to lake and playground. Here for a baseball tournament and the house was perfect to come home to. Everything we needed, especially comfortable beds and cozy spaces to chill.

The house was very comfortable and warm. The fireplace was the go to place to be. The house is well laid out and nicely styled. Many thanks for allowing us to use your lovely home.

This was our second stay, this time with our young daughter. She loved the loft bed! There was a county restriction on using the fire pit due to a drought so Kenny and Amy made sure to provide alternate activities, which was thoughtful. We plan on staying here every time we are in the area.

We have used the home previously for additional space for visiting family. Was convenient again.

We felt so lucky that Lori & Mike's place was available when we made last-minute plans to take advantage of a beautiful fall weekend. The secluded waterfront location was just the sort of nature-focused getaway we wanted, with the bonus of being close to many of the Eastern Shore's small towns and activities. Lori & Mike greeted us for a brief tour and primer on the property and the use of the kayaks; they are friendly hosts who clearly care about creating a great guest experience. The loft was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. For guests, there's a dedicated fire pit with Adirondack chairs and a private dock for launching the kayaks; we made use of all of them, and really enjoyed our paddle up the creek! We had brunch in Salisbury, lunch in Cambridge, dinner in Berlin, and even wandered as far as Fenwick Island for a fall beach day. It's a great jumping-off point for an Eastern Shore getaway, whether you want to do a lot or very little. Would book again!

I could write a paragraph but I am going to keep it as short as possible for The Big Gray House. My family and I stayed there for our family get together. For some of us, it was our first Airbnb experience, for others it wasn’t. However, that does not take away from the fact that Kevin and Deb were welcoming. We were greeted with a warm welcome, snacks, a greeting card and an abundance of kindness. Kevin and Deb were both readily available and quickly responsive in case of any questions, needs and concerns. This experience was truly enjoyable. The house is a home. Kevin & Deb are truly one of a kind and genuinely great people. If we are ever in need of a place in MD again for a family vacation, we won’t hesitate to book! Thank you so much Kevin and Deb!
