With attention to detail, we have completely renovated this house, which is over 100 years old. We reused as much of the old materials as possible or worked with natural materials, such as clay plaster, furniture made of wood in our own construction, the sink was hand-potted by me and mounted on an old sewing machine frame. You will stay on a former farm with a listed, 420-year-old barn, which we have lovingly renovated. You will stay in a completely independent part of the barn with a private entrance. On the ground floor, there is a large living-dining kitchen. On the second floor is the bedroom and a cozy sofa corner that invites you to relax. It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind.

The apartment is located at the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. The area is great for hiking/ biking or motorcycling. Cities such as Nuremberg (35 km), Erlangen (15 km) and Bamberg (39 km) are also easily accessible by S-Bahn station (from: 8 km). Bayreuth (70 km). Attractions for children are nearby.
