In the historical mill dating from 1727 we offer you a newly built apartement for spending your holidays in an quiet and idyllic environment. Historical walls and constructions made 300 years ago offer place for the new kitchen and bathroom. A separate entry and a nice little gardenplace complete the apartement. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

House with gym and sauna for 3-12 people

Spacious, family-friendly house (200 m²) on the Walenstadtberg with a fantastic view of the Swiss mountains and the valley. The entire house is exclusively available to our guests. Eight individually designed bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a cosy lounge, a terrace, a private fitness room and a sauna ensure a relaxing stay. Ideal for families, groups and friends. Booking for at least three paying persons.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the fireplace, and cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a dormitory is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

Quiet views

This apartment is on the 2nd floor, idyllically located (850 m above sea level). Enjoy our view over the fog. Ideal for hiking in the beautiful Töss Valley or simply relaxing walks in the surrounding area. Access to the apartment by stairs (no elevator). It is a more than 300-year-old house. Therefore, the apartment only has a ceiling height of about 190 cm. Easily accessible by bus or car.
