Our stay was fabulous. we had everything we needed for cooking and sleeping. I love that there were two separate kitchens for both floors making it easy for the families with kids to stay on one floor and do their own thing for groceries! Jessica was very responsive, kind, and flexible with our needs. I'd recommend her as a host to anyone!

The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

It was such a nice place to relax and to be close to our family for the holidays! Decluttered and calm but also decorated for Christmas, which made the place feel like home. The host was quick to respond to messages and even brought us a cookie plate! I would recommend this place to future guests.

From the moment we walked through the door- we were awestruck at the warm and relaxing atmosphere. The Gambrel Guesthouse is beautiful and was so spacious for our large family, 8 adults and five children ages 3-12. Three levels, and every room had its own special charm, the decor is great, and always something new to see at every turn! The bedrooms were spacious, cozy and comfortable! The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Our family enjoyed sitting in the different areas, talking, playing games and doing puzzles. It was an ideal space for celebrating our winter family getaway! The property grounds and wooded walking trails are beautiful in winter, and have a peaceful serenity. Would love to be here in the summer and see the prairie in bloom! Great memories made here!

We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect for a cozy getaway with family. Halina was quick to answer any questions that we had and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Alpine Oasis is a beautiful retreat! Located on a small lake (nice to walk around, or over when frozen), and a short drive to numerous small towns with good food options (Friday Fish Fry at Silvercryst—YUM!). The modern design of the home is gorgeous—feels clean, luxurious, thoughtful, and well-cared for. Fireplace, blankets, plush linens, and hot tub make it feel cozy. Kitchen has everything you could need—we cooked every day. Bathroom is very clean and feels high end. Very short drive to Nordic Mtn or other county parks to ski, hike, etc. Becky & maint were uber responsive. All instructions were very thorough and clear. Would love to return in summer when we can use the fire pit, swim in the lake, ride on the pontoon, and experience lake life up north!

We really enjoyed the stay! The cabin was more beautiful on the inside than we expected. It’s well set up for a small group. Atty the dog was very sweet! As an FYI, she did stay right outside our door almost the whole time we were there. It drove our dog crazy! For that reason we won’t be able to bring our dog along next time if we rebook. Atty also followed us along on a walk. She walked in the middle of the road and did not respond to our commands. We were very concerned about her safety as there are blind spots on the road. One car had to drive on the other side of the road to get around her. Fortunately he saw us and slowed way down. When I asked Gloria to call her home, she was not able to do so until hours later. So we weren’t able to enjoy walks because we felt too responsible for Atty. Otherwise everything was very nice! As an fyi, some type of pesticide is used in the home.

Overall the place was nice. I wished the pictures matched the description but later found that their were descriptions on the pictures. I wasn't impressed with a mini-fridge but that may not be in his control. Otherwise, the place was nice but wished there was a bit more room.

Melissa is a great host got back to all questions we had during our stay with a clear and timely response, I seen someone else mention this about her place and can’t agree more she can’t control the parking lot traffic and other guest around the location so none of those complaints should have any impact on anyone’s reviews with the things she can control she was great and I’d look forward to staying again.

John has a beautiful home, lots of space, and he responds to any questions you might have promptly. I just got home from a guys annual fishing trip. I think we were most impressed with just how well EVERYTHING was arranged and supplied. We definitely loved watching deer, turkeys go through the property daily.

Michelle went above expectation to put up a Christmas tree and decorations, was attentive to my needs, I was very impressed with her warming gift of a bottle of wine and candy. We would definitely rent her place again. A relaxing place to be.

My husband and I booked this condo for a weekend away for our birthdays and to just have some "us" time. The unit was beautiful and just as described and shown in the pictures. We loved that the jacuzzi was big enough for both of us to relax in together as well as having a tv to watch a movie while relaxing. The condo was spacious and the beds(we only used the master kind bed) were comfortable. The only things I would point out to maybe enhance the stay, would be some sort of speakers behind the jacuzzi(it was hard to hear the TV with the jets on) and a step stool of some kind to get in(it felt like a long way down). Basic spices would also be a nice touch. Things like cooking spray, salt and pepper. As a couple other reviews have noted, the air freshener was pretty strong when walking in. It was an easy fix, as we just unplugged it during our stay(we made sure to plug it back in before we left). None of these affected our stay so it's still a 5 star for us and we will rent again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our family Christmas. The place was decorated for Christmas, which was really nice! There was enough space for 6 adults and 3 children. The views where beautiful, especially with the fresh blanket of snow! Will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous house. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of small details like night lights in the bathrooms. Huge sectional couch and basket of cozy fleece blankets in the living room. Loved the built in shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in both showers. Very good food at Hoozel’s restaurant about a mile from the house. Will stay here again

The cabin and surroundings are exactly as described and the pictures don’t do it justice. This is our second time here and we loved it just as much as the first! The cabin is nice and cozy and the best part is that it’s dog friendly. Outside it is absolutely peaceful and there’s so much to explore. Our dogs love it! Emily is very friendly and responsive, and makes the whole process very easy. We can’t wait to go back, and already planning our third visit!

Great stay

This place was fantastic and magical! We visited from Texas and had a wintery wonderland experience. The amenities were outstanding! Everything you could possibly need in every room and clearly labeled. The game room kept us entertained for hours on end. This place was wonderful!!!

Our family had a house fire two days before Christmas, we had a last minute close to home booking and the Christmas tree is what really sold me. The house was amazing, we checking in on Christmas Eve with minimal groceries, my partner said “ it’s a shame we didn’t bring stuff to make cookies for Santa” we had eggs, and there was enough sugar and peanut butter provided that we were able to make Christmas cookies with our toddlers and create amazing memories in the midst of what has otherwise been chaos. The rooms were amazing and had kid friendly everything for my littles. The view of the lake and the blanket of snow was truly magical and this will be a Christmas I will never forget. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone considering it

Comfortable, peaceful cabin in a gorgeous, serene location!! Exactly what we were looking for and the bed is very comfortable too. That and the quiet surroundings made for excellent sleep

Great private/rural location. Brian was a great host and easy to work with and had excellent and timely communication. He accommodated our family and pets and we rented entire unit (#1 & 2). Would stay again if ever back in the area.

We have been coming to Necedah to hunt for years and have rented several houses in the past, the antlers nest is at the top. The house was clean, had all the amenities we needed. Was comfortable, spacious and exceeded our expectations. Kasia was great, quick to respond and worked with us on early checkin/late checkout. Overall a great house, property and experience, we will be renting again!

This home is a great place for a family vacation. It has a beautiful private yard with a fire pit, picnic table and even an outdoor swing. It was nice having the grill right outside the patio door from the kitchen. The kitchen is plenty big enough with a lot of counterspace to prepare meals. I would highly recommend staying here.
