Monthly Rentals in Witherslack

My partner and I loved staying here, a great bolthole away from the busy towns but close enough to visit. The bothy was cosy and full of character and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Cowmire Hall itself is a remarkable building, a beautiful country house tucked away in the undulating countryside. Rebecca the owner; was very responsive and helpful. We will sure to be back!

Superb location and the perfect base for exploring the area. I only wish I had more time to enjoy Cate’s place and its beautiful surroundings—it all looked absolutely stunning. I had a quiet coffee outside one morning before heading home, and it was incredibly peaceful. Inside, everything was just as expected and fully equipped. Cate also left me some of the best brownies and cookies I’ve ever eaten—such a thoughtful touch!

The accommodation was exactly how it was described if not better than the photographs looked. We only stayed there one night travelling through the area from Scotland to London.

William’s is a great host & his place was a pleasure to stay in with everything we needed. It’s remote but worth the long drive down narrow lanes. It’s incredibly peaceful & tranquil yet near to many Lake District attractions. We would recommend it to anyone & will definitely stay here again if we can.
