“Georgina and Alex's place is AMAZING in every way. First, the home is gorgeous, updated, immaculate and has every amenity you can possibly think of to cook and prepare food, as well as keep the place clean. We love to cook and really enjoyed the modern state of the art kitchen. Second, the bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable you'll sleep for days. Third, the water view and fire pit are WONDERFUL for relaxing and escaping. The property is very private and the lot is huge and beautiful. Fourth, it's located right on the bike trail for a number of bike events because of the shoulders and high quality roads and leads to the wonderful Blackwater Wildlife Refuge. Finally, the house gets wonderful light and the space is great to hang in all day, reading a book. We can't wait to go back. The hosts are also VERY quick and thoughtful responders--can't ask for a single thing more of this place. It's a gem in every way. Thank you for letting us stay!! Stefanie”

“What an airy and cheerful place! Like a French apartment dropped into Church Creek. We went for some kayaking and hiking in the Blackwater Refuge nearby so were not looking for much more than a good bed but were really charmed by Wende’s soothing decor, wonderful beds, soft sheets, delightful porch where we shared some wine with the local bugs and generally felt pampered. Communication was good and Wende was a welcoming host who gave us pointers about kayaking and crab cakes. I hope to return!”

“Very sweet house in a great location. We went for the Harriet Tubman museum and the Blackwater Refuge. Both were just minutes away. Nina is the perfect host. She's responsive (like REALLY responsive) and offers great tips for the area. This is the reason you want to stay in an airbnb. You get a local experience that can't be had in a hotel or resort. Shout out to Rebecca as well, as the house was super clean and tidy. It's clear she takes a lot of care in this. It shows!”
