Monthly Rentals in Wye River

Very cosy house overlooking the forest and ocean, upstairs view is nice and pleasant. Perfect location with 5 mins walk to the beach/rockpool and the general store. There are kookaburras, Rosellas and cockatoos visiting the balcony regularly, though I don't recommend feeding them or eating outside, especially with little kids.

Colleen and David’s place is great. On the sea side of the hill you have a great view out the ocean from the balcony or from the lounge room. The place is as described and the pictures are correct. Colleen and David are responsive hosts. The beach is easy to walk to, use the pathway down through the garden, following the square stepping stones.

Wye dream is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for hosting us, Michelle & Matthew. We loved it so much. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves was a tonic. With kangaroos & kookaburra in the backyard it was a quintessential holiday stay. It’s also really rare to find an Airbnb with full linen included and a fabulously appointed kitchen with an ocean view! There so much light & air in the house it feels easy to be in. It’s not flashy…it’s warm and comfortable & spacious. The location is perfect. Not such an uphill hike but still has views of the ocean from the excellent bedrooms. It’s better than the pictures! For anyone wanting to stay in Wye River, pub & general stores are absolute delights and it’s a great base to explore further afield. Thanks so much again. We really hope to come back!

I very much enjoyed staying at this house among the hills of Wye River. It was peaceful and well located. Walking down to the beach and general store was easy, but the return is steep. I recommend those who are less fit or older consider driving the short distance instead.
