Betty's Cottage - Beautiful, rural valley.

Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic & comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are dog friendly and are happy to welcome up to two well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle & explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's & is a traditional, stone cottage.

The Workhouse (Plas-y-Berllan) is the main building of Albro Castle workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi Estuary. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of our lane. Poppit beach is a 15 minute walk away and the Preseli Mountains a 20 minute drive. St.Dogmaels is a pretty village with a local produce market every Tuesday, brilliantly stocked shop for essentials and the Ferry Inn pub just a 5 minute walk form us.

Glanteifi, meaning on the banks of the Teifi, is a large Georgian House with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms right on the river leading straight to Poppit Sands. It has 3 acres of shared grounds going right down to the shoreline and includes a tennis court. It is situated at the start of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and is a short walk in to the village with its award winning farmer's market, pubs, fish and chip shop, art and pottery galleries, mini supermarket, Post Office, abbey and water mill.
