We are particular about the interior and the furniture installed to ensure a comfortable stay in the building, including a well-maintained garden. We provide a space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend a relaxing and extraordinary time. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils such as an IH stove, rice cooker, and hot plate, making it perfect for traveling with family and friends. In addition, the facility is equipped with WiFi and a working desk, so it is also recommended for use as a working space. Located at the foot of Mt. Kojozan, one of the best mountain climbing spots in the prefecture, it is a location where you can fully enjoy mountain climbing. In summer, you can enjoy the river in the nearby river, and you can enjoy nature in all seasons. We will welcome you with all our hearts so that you can have a pleasant time.

This Villa does not provide meals or ingredients. There are few places to eat out at night in the neighborhood, so cooking is recommended. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. There are also several hot springs within a 10-minute drive. * BBQ in the garden from late April to early October. We do not recommend it at other times of the year because it is too cold. The stove in the garden is available for free. We will prepare a set of BBQ supplies for ¥2,500. Bringing your own is free. Not available in rainy weather due to lack of roof. You can have a barbecue indoors, but you will be charged ¥2,000 for special cleaning. We will prepare a barbecue plate if you request it.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

We renovated a vacant house in the Okiha shopping district where Kitahara Hakushu's family home is located, and created a single-family home where you can try out moving from accommodation to living (trial living). The house has been renovated with plenty of natural wood to make it comfortable. The furniture is made with the full cooperation of Hiromatsu Moku, and you can experience lovely furniture. It is both an inn and a home where you can live as if you were blending into the city while retaining the nostalgic atmosphere of a Showa-era house. In the Japanese-style room, we have a Tanabata decoration for the summer only. Guests can write their wishes on a strip of paper and display them.
