Holiday rentals with a patio in York River

Clean, safe, easy to get to. Did the job we needed it to for the weekend.

We have stayed multiple times at Vonda’s. She is an exceptional host and always so thoughtful and accommodating! We love how close her place is to Busch Gardens. We have stayed at both her places, will never stay anywhere else when we are in town! Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay. Cynthia (the host) made communication very easy and all aspects were as advertised. The staff at Wyndham were very friendly and check in was a snap. As for the rooms; clean, and quaint with nice kitchen accommodations. Overall excellent stay, would not hesitate to come back.

Monica and David’s place was great! The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Very very very clean and the decor was very nice. Monica and David were very responsive and proactive.

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

Great cozy space for a weekend trip! My friends and I went to Busch gardens for the weekend and wanted a quiet yet affordable and reasonably close location for the park. Casey was very attentive with our questions about getting in (it was all operator error aka me 😳😳) and any other inquires about our stay. The location is on a quiet street with an amazing coffee shop that is directly behind the Airbnb. We will definitely be back!! Casey also offered dish soap, hand soap, detergents, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a few more things in case they were forgotten.

I had a great stay at Frank's apartment home near the ocean. It was a beautiful 2 months, and I got to bring along a friend and my dog! The home had enough space for all of us and was well stocked for the extended stay. Only a short walk to the ocean, the neighborhood itself was also nice to walk in with my dog. Lots of good food and things to do within walking distance. Frank was a great host friendly and helpful. I'm already missing waking up there, I felt so at home. The furniture was comfortable, the couch the beds 👌👌👌. I would definitely visit again!

This home was the perfect location to Norfolk Botanical Gardens and was able to comfortably fit a small wedding to get ready in. It was clean and romantic for the wedding night. Would highly recommend!

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Beautiful place with modern upgrades. Access to the beach was super close and just a block away. Neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed walking our dog in the nearby park. We look forward to returning.

This place is awesome! Tons of space for family (and/or friends), super close to the beach, and really clean. The hosts have done such a nice job decorating and providing guests with nice surroundings…and they did NOT skimp when it came to the pool table; it’s legit! Bring your Billiards “A-Game” and then hop in the surf. This one’s a keeper!

This is a great house in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. There's tons of yard space, and honestly, the house is even prettier in person than it looks in the photos. It's large, open, and very homey... it has that comforting "grandmother's house" feel, but in a really charming way, not old or outdated. Definitely not your plain, cookie-cutter hotel vibe! Everything was very clean, but the place still had so much character. I also really appreciated the focus on restoring original features rather than replacing everything as it added a lot of warmth and uniqueness. Also, the water filter at the sink was a huge bonus and saved me money on bottled water. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the house. Just be careful w little ones, all vent covers were not secured to the floor properly and that could be safety hazard. One disappointment we had -although the beach was very close (5 minutes walk) there were runoff pipes all along the beach. Public beach a 5 minute drive. We ended up driving to Virginia Beach and had much better time there, 40 minute drive.

We had a wonderful stay! Clean, quiet, comfortable place to recoup after days of sight seeing.

Plenty of space for our family of 7. We were close to all the things we wanted to do in the area.

Great place to stay and enjoy the Virginia Beach area! The suite was spotless and very well decorated. Nice outdoor space, and even a balcony to enjoy the sunshine. Loved the quick walk to the beach (She even had some great books available that we took advantage of)!The host was very gracious and kind and our stay was seamless . Just a helpful suggestion: it needed a few more basic items like additional hand towels/kitchen towel ( one was not enough for us three girls), and another accessible mirror for getting ready would be super helpful! Besides that, we all agreed that we would come back for sure! Thank you for a great stay!

Came with my girls for a conference at the Beach. Salt and Serenity was super peaceful, felt private and quiet. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the showers was awesome. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all amenities were as described. Susan was a great, responsive host and made accommodations for our early check-in. And all the restaurant suggestions were a hit! Would definitely come again!

The condo was great! It is located in a private and quiet neighborhood. The condo itself was very clean! I appreciated that there was bedding and extra pillows for the pull-out couch. Rodica was very friendly and sent wonderful instructions. I will be visiting again :)

Great location for walking to the beach and many restaurant options. The beds are comfy and the living room has good seating options (unlike rentals that have only one couch). Kat was very responsive and attentive to our requests. She was great. FYI, Chicos has good pizza and fun atmosphere, Pocahontas Pancakes has great breakfast options and seems to be very popular there. The Shack is a cool outdoor bar. The Irish Pub had live music and fun atmosphere. We would rent again from Kat.
