Family-friendly holiday rentals in Zuidplas

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

We were two for 2 nights there. The reception was very warm and friendly. The bikes available were a great way to go for a cozy evening lap or to be able to shop in less than 20 minutes. With our car, we drove to Zandvoort to the sea in just under 1 hour. It was incredibly relaxing and the area is very nice.

This is a beautiful and comfortable home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ilan was a very responsive host who provided lots of information in advance of our stay, and quickly answered any questions we had. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Grote Markt area, with shops and restaurants along the way (including a large grocery store that's just a few minutes from the house). There's also a bus stop less than a minute away with buses to/from the central train station or the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back again!

Sam was an amazing host for an equally amazing home and view. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed with Onno in April 2025 with my wife, son and parents. The house is really wonderful, has everything you need and is very nicely decorated. The location is great, with the bikes that are at the house, we are through the Bollenstreek and had a fantastic time.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

We stayed a week in this beautiful house by the lake. Nature is unique the view of the lake and the seabirds spectacular. You have absolute peace and, if you want, you can also go out a bit by rowing boat. Gouda, Rotterdam and The Hague are super quick to reach if it rains or you want to see something different. We felt very comfortable in the house. There are probably some flight bugs due to the lake location, but at least at this time of the year there were no stinging specimens. We would come back back.

Nienke’s place was perfect for our week-long stay. She met us at check in and helped acclimate us to the space. They layout was great and very spacious. We loved walking to the metro which is right outside the apartment. Such a cute area and gorgeous views of canals and sunsets. Nienke is super sweet and always available to help. Fabulous communication and gracious host. We’d love to return someday!

We felt really comfortable - almost like at home. Everything was wonderful and very clean, the house is very well appointed. The communication was always impeccable and fast. Nearby is a nice park, so we could walk our dog. Kimberley and Frits even set up an extra desk and chair under the roof, so I even had my little home office (because I had to work despite vacation). Wifi was super fast.

A very warm welcome, a quaint cottage with everything we needed on a generous plot that we had access to all of it. Bus stop close by making it easy to visit Gouda and beautiful location. Conchita the host was very friendly but kept away but was easily found with information when we needed it. Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the view of the lake just magical. Very quiet. In the middle of nature and still close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for the loan of the bikes and boat. It was awesome to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit . Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decor, welcome gifts...) and responded during the day to our messages. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. Thanks for the real break

The apartament was very spacious, with everything you need so it feels like home. Contact with mrs. Nathalie was also very good- quick answers and I felt well informed about everything in the house. Place was very close to the Central station and subway. Highly recommend :)

This is a wonderful and stylish house. It is very peaceful and spacious. The tram is very convenient but we usually cycled everywhere. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful cottage with a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful large kitchen. Ideally furnished for larger family of 6 people. Warm welcome. The wine was ready, as well as cake and sweets ! Certainly subject to repetition!

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

Our family had a perfect stay. House was beautiful, close to the city by ferry, restaurants on the waterfront and we even got in a swim just 10mins walk from the house. Was great to be able to use the bikes too. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean with great showers.

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

A lovingly furnished house with everything you need. Even replacement batteries for the remote control were not lacking. The beach, bars and restaurant are also within walking distance. An extralob must be pronounced separately to the host. Open to any question at all times and always helpful. We felt very comfortable and the holiday was really nice. 🙏🙏🙏🤗

We had a truly wonderful stay on Laura’s boat. It was perfect for two people - quiet and private, yet close to all of the excitement of Amsterdam. It was so fun to live like a local on a boat house for a few days! It is a boat, so spaces are small, and if that bothers you, you need to choose somewhere else. But if you want the experience of living on a boat for a few days, you will love this place. Definitely rent the bicycles from Laura! If you haven’t seen Holland by bike, you haven’t seen Holland. We loved this place. I really hope we have the chance to go back someday.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. The outside area was a lovely place to sit in the evening sun and the Sauna was very relaxing. The facilities (pool, kids playground, the beach and the restaurant) were fantastic. The location is wonderful and feels close to nature with a beach very close by. It's very easy to drive to local attractions or you can take the number 24 bus into town from the main road (30 mins walk) and take the train or tram anywhere. This is a great location to relax in nature and to enjoy local bike trails and walks. Karin is a wonderful and attentive host. We highly recommend this accommodation.
