A Capela was a wonderful, peaceful place. It close to the heart of Sintra but far enough away to feel private. They have a connection with a nearby cafe for daily breakfast options that were delicious. The grounds are quaint with fruit trees, a pool, and a table to eat outside. There was a peacock and rooster on the grounds, which were listed in the description. It goes without saying, but the rooster crows, so keep that in mind - it did not bother us. If you eat outside, the rooster might come to join you, but we did not feed him and he eventually left :) The showers are very nice with adequate hot water - be careful if you have young children because the beautiful tile floors in the bathroom can become slick if you don't wipe them dry. The host was very nice and responsible, and the person who checked us in and out was easy to communicate with via the messaging app. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nice!

What can I say. The host were awesome and kept in touch through out the booking process and welcomed us to their home and kept in touch through out our stay. The location is perfect for a walk to the beach and very peaceful and friendly area. Everything you needed for the stay was provided. We had no issues. We would highly recommend the home and the hosts were perfect throughout. We will definitely go back.

We had 9 family members, which filled the house. More than enough room for us to move around and kitchen fully stocked with the necessities for a big dinner. Comfortable living area that we could all sit and visit together. Made our trip very memorable! Location was perfect for a day trip to Lisbon or Nazare.

Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and for our family of 9 it was a great place to stay and spend time together. We especially enjoyed the area around the pool and the kids went in when the weather would allow it. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was also ideally located for everyone to go off on their own sometimes. Some went to the China market across the street, some went grocery shopping, some to the playground and some to McDonalds which is all close by. The local market with fresh fish, vegetables and bread is also just down the street, in walking distance, and full of local life. In general the possibilities for grocery shopping in the neighborhood are good. Thank you so much to Maria and her husband for having us!

The house is beautiful, large with spaces for everyone (including bathrooms) which is very nice. It is very well equipped including for cooking. It has a great view of the surrounding area in an extremely relaxing setting. The bedding that deserves to be changed and the children's room is very wet and requires running a dehumifier at all times. I was also a little surprised by the lack of tact from the host (or the people who manage the property for him) who asked how we had been able to do a task on a stainless steel sink when it was already there. But indeed it is difficult to know who is right with an exchange of express keys upon arrival. However, the experience remains very positive and the house is great.

Lovely and friendly host; big, very clean and comfortable house, one car in garage, the other one fits in the gated driveway. The owners are very responsive with any issues and have provided great local recommendations 👍

My friends and I had the best stay here! Gauthier was extremely helpful and responsive from the moment we booked the accommodation and had recommendations for transports, shops and local restaurants. We had our wedding at this beautiful villa and also spent several days here with our guests—it was truly unforgettable. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The garden is stunning and the views created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. They prepared the catering with traditional food, and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!

We were nine in Lisbon with the grandparents and children and felt at home from the beginning. Very suitable for large groups three bathrooms and sufficient bedrooms with good beds. The kitchen invites you to cook and the dining room table is huge. Anytime again. Thank you.

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Lovely spacious, well equipped and comfortable villa. Pool and BBQ area were great and it had everything we needed. There is a supermarket close by and we used Ubers to get to the beach and into Lisbon as they were cheap and plentiful.

The house offered an amazing retreat for the nine of us, we felt at home from the very beginning. Plus the hosts were there for every wish and inquiry we had, I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Great site to rest and replenish! A lot of nature and easy access to supermarkets and tourist sites. We were very welcome and any questions that arose we had an immediate answer! No doubt a place to come back to
