This place is a gem. Saloni is a great host, she was always responsive and friendly. The place is beautiful, beautifully decorated and super clean. Saloni made sure we had everything we needed and provided some groceries for our stay. We also got to try some homemade Indian food. The garden was the cherry on top to this great stay. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for home away from home.

We stayed at this place for a couple of days. And we were leaving with a feeling this was not enough. The place is exactly as described in the listing, in fact the real experience is much better. The cottage is surrounded by lush green hills and the view is amazing as if you are standing in front of a life size canvas. This is a kind of place where you just sit and soak the immenseness of the scenery or one can just claim a corner and read books. We found the place totally peaceful and private. The cottage is fully equipped with everything a man needs...be it food, fruits & vegetables, dairy, scenic beauty, fresh air, beautiful people, and very friendly & protective dogs. All help and guidance was available on demand. Meeting Mr. Sharma (the host) was a humbling experience. One can learn a lot from him, be it on farming, life, his passion...a simple and hardworking man. Just describing it as a Himachali countryside cottage is an understatement. This place is much more than that.

We had an incredible 3-night stay at Russet Sparrow! Nestled in the hills, this place is a serene escape with breathtaking views. Leena, the host was very welcoming and helped us throughout our stay right from our checkin till we checked-out. She also got our meals prepared and served us at her cottage which was such a wonderful gesture, we had great chit chats and exchanged so many conversations. Ashish bhaiya who was the caretaker was always smiling and happily helped us with all the stuff we needed throughout our stay. I’d definite like to highly recommend this place.
