Holiday rentals with lake access in Akron

The place was absolutely beautiful and the views of the lake provided the perfect backdrop for peace and serenity. Mark was very responsive and it was a lovely experience. The kind of stay you wished could have lasted longer!

Kristen's place was just as described! this was our first time using Airbnb and Kristen was more than accommodating with answering questions quickly. Her place was very clean and had more than what was needed for our long weekend stay!!

We travel often as a homeschooling family. My 9 year old picked Cleveland and Brian’s Airbnb as her birthday trip. Unfortunately, the night before our check in, there were some issues at Brian’s Airbnb with plumbing — but fortunately, he is an incredible host and person and let us know he was moving us to another beautiful location. “Above and beyond” is an understatement. He even sent my daughter donuts for her birthday. Brian was kind, responsive, honest and helpful. We all fell in love with Cleveland and will recommend Brian’s properties to everyone we know. Highly recommend this host!

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

From the start, Holly was quick and responsive. This little house was perfect for the two of us and our hound. Neighborhood was adorable- perfect to walk the dog. Out the door, down the driveway, to the right- and a little walk later we were at the lakeside! Charming houses the whole route. I was worried about no TV, but we didn't miss it at all! We walked across the street for breakfast at Gus's. Nothing amazing here but it was nice to be able to walk there. We were in town for a game at Cleveland Browns field and the drive into downtown was easy (be aware they close exits). Place was clean and had everything you need. It was thoughtful that she supplied coffee, a few snacks, and treats for the dog. Even had make- up wipes and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. Towels were so soft! Communication was great! Check in instructions were clear , making sure we didn't need anything, & check out instructions were easy. Pics were spot on and descriptions of place were exact.

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

Great property inside, well decorated, on a quirky street. Close to the hall of fame and browns stadium. The hosts communicated really well and were accommodating when we had some plans that didn’t work and they were flexible to make work.

Had a great weekend at the Portage Lakes with our dogs. The host has great recommendations and easy to follow instructions. The doors get stuck and are noisy but to be expected with an older house, I would also recommend more throw blankets down stairs to help with the coziness. Thanks for being a great host.

I appreciate his flexibility when I told him my situation. He was a great host, and the place was a great spot for a get together to celebrate my friend's achievement.

Peaceful and spacious and beautiful. Nicely provisioned. Easy check in, close to everything, but has a nice private view of woods from the windows

Wonderful home, was clean and the host was personable and respectful. great location and helpful hints to some great places in the area to eat! would love to be hosted again.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The place was lovely, immaculate and cozy. I had everything needed for a great stay. Very walkable and beautiful neighborhood. It was wonderful to be so close to the park and Lake Erie. Parking on the street worked well. Easy driving into Cleveland. Thank you.

What you see is what you get. The place looked exactly like the photos. Our favorite part was the floor to ceiling windows and view of the bridge/water. Excellent location close to bars and restaurants. Short walk to Cleveland Browns games, even in the cold.

This was an absolutely beautiful location, and the inside of the Airbnb was completely charming, the view from the foyer looking out one of the bedroom windows was full lake and it filled me with a sense of peace that I’ve been looking for for a while. I cannot wait to stay here again, and this may become my family’s meeting point between Michigan and Virginia!

Great place and a great host as well! Cozy little spot with lots to eat and do in the surrounding area. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to stay near Gordon square.

Meets the “Hotel Quality” that the hosts advertise. The space and windows are superior to most, the bed and bedding were adequate. Everything was pristine and new. The unit faces a busy intersection so there’s a lot of road noise with windows open, windows closed dampens the noise fairly well. Place was too sterile for my taste but others, I’m sure, will appreciate this aspect.

Loved our stay!! Clean, well furnished, and comfortable!

My wife and I plan to book a long weekend this summer bring the Kayaks and check out the gorgeous lake.

Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy more of that beautiful view!!

Traveled with my wife recently to visit family in Ohio. This cottage was very comfortable and welcoming. Woke up on the second morning to the trees covered with a layer of snow. It was a beautiful winter wonderland, if only for a day. Tim and Melissa were gracious hosts, and check-in/check-out was easy and seamless. When the time came to travel back home...we did not want to leave.

Cozy cottage with ample space in a really peaceful location. Nice neighborhood to walk around with the lake nearby (and a really nice playground/picnic space). The kitchen had everything I needed, the two separate living room spaces provided a lot of variety, and the two bedrooms were set up nicely. I didn't use the window AC units, but appreciated that they were available in each room.

Linda is an absolute gem of a person. She’s an incredible host with a wonderful home. We accidentally left a laptop post-checkout and she called us and arranged a meetup for us to grab it! Just goes to show that she has amazing character and really cares about her clients. Will book again, 10/10!

I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. Very impressed with the cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable. Loved drinking my coffee on the front porch swing in the morning. Then was pleasantly surprised by the delicious homemade muffins that were left upon our arrival. I will definitely be back!😊

We love Molly’s little cottage on their wonderful farm. It is so peaceful and the surrounding area is so beautiful and private. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a more well equipped kitchen….anything you could possibly need is provided! The hosts are so friendly and responsive, while also completely respecting your privacy. We definitely hope to stay again in the future. Truly one of our favorite airbnbs! =)
