Our "cottage" is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house, as part of an old mill yard! We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbours and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Guest house "Alter Tabakschuppen"

Small two-story vacation home. On the ground floor there is storage space for bicycles. The apartment on the first floor can be reached via an external staircase. It is divided into a living/dining area with a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a spacious shower. To sleep, you go up the inner staircase to an open gallery, where a 1.60 m wide bed awaits you. If you come with four people, the couch can be folded out into a full double bed.

Take a vacation in a late Gothic half-timbered house built in 1467. Feel the atmosphere of crooked walls and a floor that reflects the history of the house and its inhabitants. Also enjoy the hospitality of the wine god Bacchus of Bruttig-Fankel. Capacity for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. In der 100 qm großen Ferienwohnung soll man sich sofort zuhause fühlen und die unglaublichen Ausblicke auf den berühmten Malerwinkel, die Stadtmauer mit dem Liebesturm und die Burg Stahleck genießen. Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.
