Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alger County

Jessie's place was roomy and welcoming. It has a relaxing UP vibe. 2 full baths is a bonus. Lots of wide open space in the neighborhood being across from the golf course. Close enough to downtown Munising without being right in town. We would stay here again for sure.

Patrick's he was perfect for my son and I on our hiking trip to the U.P Beautiful, clean and so cozy highly recommend

We had 5 adults coming to Munising for snowmobiling. Katy was great to deal with, answered questions quickly and was proactive with messages about check in, check out, etc. They had a great supply of spices, cookware, dishes, etc. Lots of room to hang out after a ride. Nice neighborhood and easy to get to the trail, close by. Would recommend to others. Only thing to keep in mind, we parked a truck & 4 place trailer and a truck& 2 place trailer. That's about max for parking.

Great place! So much space and beds! We walked in and felt right at home! Just wish we were able to see the northern lights, but it was overcast out side, I don't think our host could do anything about that. I did try walking out onto the balcony all night to check!

Molly was a great host! She checked every box for our stay. Very good communication and extremely friendly. The home was very comfortable and clean. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and secluded, yet so close to downtown Grand Marias. We will for sure stay again!! This was a snowmobile trip. The home was half a mile from the trail and a gas station. The driveway had plenty of room for a truck and trailer. Great spot for any snowmobile, ATV, UTV vacation.

Perfect location for visiting the Pictured Rocks and UP in general. Super clean and well-stocked. Felt very homey and comfortable. Thank you for the stay!

We had a very nice stay at Lindsey’s place. Very clean and comfortable beds! It was recently renovated and done very nicely! When we couldn’t get picture to work on the TV(it was a loose connection in back) Lindsey responded immediately. It was really nice being able to store the snowmobiles in the garage and night. Would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is Brandi and her entire staff are the most accommodating, amazing people ever. I had issues, nothing to do with any of them, they jumped into action and helped me. I will be renting from Brandi in the future, and I have already recommended her properties to everyone I know.

The unit was big and clean and was nice to relax in. The cafe below has great food and is quite entertaining, and the people are all so friendly. It is the perfect home base for UP adventures!

Our stay at Potters' Nest was very enjoyable. It has so much character with lots of thoughtful and unique details. We highly recommend it.

We had a great stay - cooked most of our meals, comfortable beds, space to hang and dry winter gear, easy access, quiet. Joe had no clutter and all the little necessities - towels, soap, sponge, paper towels, everything we needed. We had a great 3 days there.

This super clean, newly updated apartment is in a perfect location in downtown Munising! You can easily walk to Pictured Rocks Cruises and the Interpretive Center. With lots of restaurants and beautiful views, this unit is idyllic!

Santa’s Shack is perfect – an early Christmas gift for me! It’s comfy, cozy, clean, and spacious, equipped with everything I needed. Danielle is an exceptional host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I had a minor injury, which I mentioned casually, and Danielle went above and beyond by offering a therapeutic device so I wouldn’t have to drive a considerable distance, there and back, to get one. I had a fantastic time and staying at Santa's Shack was part of the amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything, Danielle!

We rented this apartment for family who were visiting the area. They absolutely loved it! It far surpassed expectations. Everything looked new, clean, & super spacious. It was the perfect size for my mom, brother, sister and her husband to comfortably share. My mom thoroughly enjoyed the massive main suite, with a reading nook and her own bathroom. There was a tv in both bedrooms, which was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. William was very responsive. When we had a question about ‘live tv’ and watching some football games, he sent someone up right away to log the family on to YouTubeTV. Being able to gather and watch our favorite teams play live was a bonus, as some places only provide limited streaming. The family also enjoyed cooking a ‘home cooked’ meal in the huge, fully stocked kitchen. We all fit comfortably around the large, beautiful dining table, which was also a perfect place for game nights. Thank you for helping our family make wonderful memories!
