Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

We were hosted very well by Paulette. The accommodation is well arranged and in a quiet neighborhood. It's as described. Close to the center of Brive on foot. Very good experience

Fantastic location in the historic centre and wonderful little appt in an ancient, restored building. The kitchen is tiny and there was no washing machine or easy way to make coffee. Courtyard directly outside was lovely to sit in at night. Melissa is very responsive and there is private parking nearby. Saturday market in the town square was excellent.

welcome from Daniel friendly. clean and quiet accommodation you just have to plan to arrive from the time mentioned on the listing. Impossible to adjust the temperature of the heater that arrives through a duct from the owners' house. Extra heating of the bathroom present but does not work,otherwise beautiful peaceful environment.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Noémie's accommodation is very well equipped as a whole: kitchen (dishes, utensils, basic ingredients: salt, pepper, oil, coffee, dishwashing liquid and hands...), bathroom (towels, shower gel shampoo) and bedrooms (beds made and bedding of good quality). The accommodation is spacious, clean and quiet in a beautiful environment close to all amenities (Le Bugue). Isabelle with whom we communicated for our stay is very responsive and available. We would recommend this listing.

We were two families and had a great stay, despite the bad weather. The pool was not open but we could not have used it. The kitchen is hyper equipped, there are games and board games, suggested activities, large garden, huge library, … Several bakeries and shops within 15 minutes. The bedrooms are all cannons. Everything is of very good taste. Communication with Judith was very fluid. The area is beautiful with bike rides in the area, castles and picturesque towns. Everything was perfect! Very friendly and accommodating hosts, and large very quiet and well-equipped house with a superb plot, we had a very nice stay, we would recommend it in a second!

Gite in a beautiful peaceful Saladin house. Very pleasant setting with rabbits to admire cool in the garden. The interior of the cottage is as described. The rooms are spacious and cool, which is nice in summer. Thank you very much Mark for your hospitality, your sightseeing tips and the bottle of rosé.

The place is beautiful! Even more than the pictures show. The pool was such a hit - specially on those 38* days. The grounds of the property are very well maintained. Delphine was very responsive and went out of her way to help me when I lost my wallet. Thank you for letting us use your place, it sure is a memory the kids won’t forget about :-)

We just finished our week of vacation in Paul & Elyn's place and it was a very nice week. The accommodation, kitchen, pool access correspond perfectly to the description as well as the photos.
