Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Almuñécar

We arrived on 2nd April and wasn’t disappointed at all . We were greeted by Katia who showed us around . The place is fantastic . The hill is for everyone but we had no problems . The house is brilliant but I would say that the games rooms needs sorting out as there is gym equipment that doesn’t work . I would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to come back again . The restaurants on the sea front are amazing highly recommend the pizza place on the beach front .

Pepe is a great host! Very knowledgeable about the surroundings. Seamlessly communication. The house is very comfortable, sea view, and also a perfect spot for seeing the sunset.

We had a long stay 6 weeks in feb/march 25. our dog was with us for half of the stay. The house is as described, we had quite unusually wet weather for half of our stay but the climate control in the house worked really well so we could be warm in the cool evenings. The house is very cute and spacious and the roof terrace was amazing on the sunny days. Pia told us about some of the lovely walking routes and we enjoyed many of them. There is an easy walk to Competa ( once you get to the top of the village- which is pretty steep) it is fairly flat with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. I would recommend Maro beach, it has parking ( in winter) and a small beach bar, lovely clear water where you can hire a Kayak 22 euro for 1 hour where you can see a fab waterfall that is only visible from the sea. Adrian's bar in Competa, great for cocktails, very chic. Pia was very responsive as was Chris who lived close by for any issues. A real home from home feel. we had a great time.

A beautiful home right in the heart of Benajarafe. The town's main street is just a short walk away & dotted with restaurants, cafés, stores & chiringuitos. Benajarafe itself is a gem, authentic & unspoiled by mass commercialization. The house itself is cozy, very thoughtfully equipped & features three large terraces. Best of all, it is managed by Thorben & his family, who couldn't have been nicer. They're superb hosts: attentive, considerate, flexible & always available for help or advice.

Idyllic and refreshing place for those who love nature and grandiose scenery. Access a little complicated with a car not 4x4 but driving very gently it's doable. very good communication with Philippe.

Really cozy, rural, beautiful nature, quiet, tapas bar right next door. We enjoyed it very much. We were fortunate that the weather was really nice, with blue skies and sunshine. In the house there was what we needed. There were three of us, but there could easily be four. We would love to come back again.

We had a lovely stay, despite the torrential rain for most of our visit (March). The house is comfy and we loved the wood-burning stove. The kitchen was great and very well kitted out, and we did a lot of cooking with local produce. The outside area was beautiful, mountains as backdrop, and a huge garden with different areas to sit and enjoy the views and wildlife. Even had orange trees. The house is about 3km from Orgiva, along a very winding road. We were glad it was still daylight when we first arrived, to help find it. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'd love to come back in better weather to really enjoy the pool and do more of the local walks.

Rafael was super accommodating and good on communication. This house is simple but the location is amazing in this warm valley of avocado farms and good views. Nice walks around. A good deck for sunshine and being together.

We immediately felt at home with Rafa. The house is beautiful and equipped with all useful things. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom in the parent room is convenient amenities. We were happy to spend our vacation here. Thx

Beautiful house with sea view, several terraces, heated pool, heating, but also many stairs. Sylwia reacted very quickly when the water in the showers was a little too cold and had it readjusted. Overall, we had a lovely time at the house. However, you should be aware that at the end of October/beginning of November almost only the garden gets sun (until the early afternoon) and the other terrace areas are rather shady. The warm pool, hot tub and sympathetic landlords definitely make up for it.

Angel was very accomadating. He gave us fantastic information about the area. The vila was truly beautiful. It was very clean

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were looking for private accommodation for a family with a four year old child. So that our daughter could be free in the garden. The pool is clean and very nice. Nearby Orgiva is a charming town. If you want to spend time in peace with your family, this is the place. Breakfast in the shade of an olive tree. Relax by the pool overlooking the beautiful mountains. Barbecue in the evening. Beaches within driving distance. Lots to see nearby (Granada, Pampaneira and more). Antonio is a very communicative and friendly person. He helped us with everything we needed, nothing was a problem. Thank you for everything, we spent a wonderful time here.

The stay was perfect.Tanto Marta how Amaia were at all times available for any questions we had. The house of 10, the very comfortable mattresses ( my daughter told me to tell you, she slept in glory. ) The ideal location, just a 3-minute drive from the village and with spectacular views. I would definitely go back without thinking about it. Thank you very much for your kindness ,you are lovely .

On arrival we were welcomed by Alvaro who showed us their beautiful place. Top view over the lake and mountains. Plenty flowers and vegitation all around. The contact with Vicky and Alvaro was very heartwarming and lots of info was given on what to do and visit. We would come back gor a visit anytime.

The place was amazing with beautiful views! Nick and Julia were amazing host who were very responsive if we ever needed anything. We will most definitely miss the place and of course the pets too!

Wonderful stay in the Grey House. the hosts couldn't do enough for us and the location was perfect for eating drinking and excursions. pool was a nice place to cool off and prepare for the day. if you are considering renting you will not be disappointed! we will be back

What a paradise this cottage on top of the mountain. Breakfast at the point overlooking the mountains and sea. You will relax completely. The cottage and terrace are super photogenic. We (2 friends) both had our own bed. One had one separate bedroom the other bedroom is a kind of between room that could also be closed off with curtains as a bedroom. Everything is present in the cottage, which saves a lot of groceries (kitchen herbs toilet paper, etc.). Everything is super comfortable and Gema and Helga always respond very quickly if you have questions. In short, this place is highly recommended. We hope to come back again❤️. Jo's apartment was absolutely beautiful. Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, giving you a homely feel and totally blending into the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was very well stocked. The little terrace looking down the hill was a very relaxing spot and definitly a plus. The apartment is right in the old town so perfectly located. It is not possible to get the car to the front of the house, but there is a pretty path with few stairs up to the town, which makes it easier to carry luggage up. Jo and her husband were very kind and gave us many useful recommendations. The front door to the apartment opens up onto their art atelier/shop, which gives it a very unique feeling. All in all, highly recommended!

Lovely cottage, perfect location for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Well worth a trip to nerja! And 100% recommend a car for the time you stay. Susana was great at looking after us and checking us in etc. we will definitely return!! The only thing I would suggest an improvement on is a seating table outside could be bigger so all guests can sit together as currently only two small tables. But other than that the place is lovely!! Thank you and see you soon

Amazing , magical place in an abandoned village. Peaceful environment, mountains and birds, and a super good restaurant around the corner. Nice bar in the street as well. Village vibes and a stunning cottage, we will be back for sure!

We had a brilliant stay. Natalia was always helpful and welcoming and helped us plan great activities to explore the area. She cooked us a delicious meal on our first evening, and we enjoyed cooking our own meals after that. The bird life is phenomenal in the surrounding countryside - we heard nightingales singing at night, and watched bee eaters in flight. The beach, the cities and the hiking are all readily accessible. As a family of 5 with children aged 8, 14 and 17 it was the perfect mix of luxury comfort, adventure and cultural experience. Thank you for giving us such a memorable holiday stay.
