You are vacationing in a simple but charming miller's apartment of a historic water mill, surrounded by an extensive property in the small village of Viez in Mecklenburg. Right outside the door are hiking trails through forest, fields and to the Viez heath, which blooms pink in summer. Schwerin and Ludwigslust offer sights such as castles and museums. Several swimming lakes, one with a water ski facility, offer sporting variety in summer. In winter, a wood-burning barrel sauna right by the stream beckons.

BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The apartment, which measures 20 m² in total, offers a well-equipped kitchenette, a wooden bunk bed with two sleeping places, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washing machine. The lake and the forest are perfect for walks, the cultural sites in the town centre can be reached on foot (30 minutes) or by bus, and there are shopping facilities nearby.

The offered apartment is located in the middle of Schwerin's old town. Accordingly, all attractions as well as numerous restaurants and cafes are in the immediate vicinity. The apartment has 2 rooms and sleeps 4 (double bed in the bedroom, sofa bed in the living room) and is stylishly furnished. Sheets and towels are provided by us. In addition to the location, the beautiful balcony overlooking the cathedral and the beautiful courtyard are particularly noteworthy.

The apartment has two bedrooms, a living/dining area with kitchen island, a bathroom, a sauna and a large roof terrace facing the sea.

In front of the Schwerin gates is our over 100-year-old residential building with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business and individual travelers. It is located on the 2nd floor and offers a light-flooded living room with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden views.
