Beautiful, authentic Portuguese house, with magnificent view. The house has a nice, well-equipped kitchen, which is accessible from the terrace. When we were there, there was a litter of swallows in the corner of the terrace, which had to learn to fly, and that we were able to enjoy every day. From the house you are right on a beautiful hiking trail that is well marked. The route is about 17 km, but can easily be halved. You do have to drive at least 5 km for everything (groceries, restaurants, etc.), so you can't walk to a restaurant. There is no air conditioning, but the house can be kept cool by its thick walls. Unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes in the area so don't forget the DEET 😊 Tip: in Alte is a delicious praia fluvial, near the Fonte, to cool off at the end of the afternoon.

Cozy place in a beautiful little town!

It was a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. The amenities were perfect for our family vacation on the Algarve. We would come back immediately. The nice and friendly neighborhood to our hosts was perfect and very helpful. The huge beautiful pool met our expectations more than expected. Thank you for the wonderful time in your apartment
