Recently refurbished after standing empty, the house has been completely reworked inside to provide a comfortable, up to date home in the centre of Alnwick. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower and a large airy double bedroom with super-king size bed. Number Sixteen is a short walk from all amenities (pubs, restaurants, shops, bus station) and from attractions such as Alnwick Castle.

Ulgham Grange Holiday Cottage, Northumberland

Beautiful rural cottage in the small village of Ulgham just outside Morpeth. This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.

My part was sourcing all the retro furniture, tiles and paint colours which happens to be one of my favourite pastimes! The house reflects our quirky taste and my love of mid century furniture! It is a light open and airy property decorated in a coastal theme. The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.
