Holiday rentals with beach access in Ameland

We had a very nice weekend on Ameland. The Airbnb is easily accessible from the boat by bus, the bus stops exactly in front of the apartment building. Check-in went smoothly and the apartment looked neat and clean. Glad it was on the ground floor with a terrace. We sometimes heard the upstairs neighbors, but did not experience any real inconvenience from this. The sofa bed was easy to unfold. We used bicycles to cycle to the beach and the center with restaurants was within walking distance. Super nice place to stay and plenty to do in the area. Its recommended to rent electric bikes to get around the island!

There were four of us (children 2 and 7 years old) on vacation here. The apartment is well equipped, located in a quiet hotel complex. The highlight of every day was the swimming pool! You're there in a minute, just great for kids! The surroundings are magical, Hollum is a wonderful little place and the sea is of course unsurpassed. You can park the car and bicycles right outside the door. All in all highly recommended!

Irma is extremely friendly and always very quick to respond to my messages. Easy check in . Irma came in person to welcome you with tips for things to do. There was even a sunset ride together. The proximity /walking distance to the ferry is very convenient ⛴️ Thanks and see you again !

The contact was via Eveline and was very nice. She was understanding of our situation, in which we could not be present the first day. Despite the fact that we could not officially get any money back, Eveline still gave us some money back. The accommodation is pleasant, large windows overlooking the nature. The location is beautiful and there is much to do. Recommended!

A great apartment right behind the dunes. Very large living room with balcony and great views of the dunes. Good starting point for walks on the beach and bike rides on the island. The apartment is very well equipped with dishwasher, many kitchen appliances, washing machine. The mattresses are comfortable.

Great location to relax and feel right at home. Close to hiking and biking routes. And as dessert, close to the transfer to the very beautiful Ameland. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful view, within walking distance beach and Nes, where there is much to experience. The cottage itself is complete and basic. Fully equipped, nothing missing and everything works.

Very nice stay, super clean location & Irene is super flexible!

Lovely home away from home to stay in. Very central located in Ameland for discovering the full island. Walking distance to the Wadden. The horses on the property makes the view extra prestine. Gerlies is very helpful we borrowed her BBQ and blender for home pasta sauce. We are able to rent bikes that were delegated at the house and from the house we were anle to bike all across the island. The house is very homely and comfortable for 10 people. Beautiful big garden with grass to play or picknick. We took our labradoodle with and she also loved the garden and being with us on vacation. Only tip for other tourists: Book your ferry/ veerboot tickets on time ;-). We enjoy the stay in Gerlies house a lot. Well recommended.

Melissa was very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was super nice and sufficient for us as a small family. The lighthouse, beach and small town of Hollum were within walking distance. We recommend exploring the island by bike as everything is really quick to reach. We definitely recommend the accommodation and will also be happy to come back.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Renske's home is nestled in the last village of the island, and a moment's walk into the dunes. So it was perfect for us who were searching for peace, quiet, and nature. The kitchen was spacious with great amenities, and the bedrooms were soo cozy! It was a bit challenging to find her home. It's amidst several other homes/doors. There was no sign, whether with a name or number, on an outside wall like other cottages/doors did. So we asked neighbours who were out and about if they could help us find the correct cottage, which we did. Renske was super supportive with my questions with prompt responses, I really appreciated her warmth. Thank you for having us Renske!

We had a great stay! The apartment is clean and very well equipped (especially the kitchen). We didn't find the volume bad, as written in other reviews. You can hear normal everyday noises, as usual in hotel complexes. But probably also the neighbors you have right now. Overall, we are very satisfied.
