Holiday bungalow in the countryside on the edge of the dune landscape, within walking distance to the beach. Large property and lots of privacy, two sun terraces. The bungalow can accommodate 2 people, a third person is possible by arrangement. Bookings can be made from 5 nights, only in the low season and mid-season. Check-in days Monday or Saturday. Final cleaning is € 70. Deposit €150. No pets. It is not allowed to charge electric cars from the power grid of the holiday bungalow.

Hello, we are Wijbe-Jan and Debbie. After more than 40 years of renting, we have taken over the rental from the parents of Wijbe-Jan, Hans and Geertje van der Meulen. We live in a national monument from 1771. The farmhouse is the old farm of distant ancestors on the beautiful island of Ameland. We rent out 3 vacation bungalows for 2, 4 or 6 people. Pets are welcome for a fee, and there is free WiFi in all homes. We hope to meet you soon in one of our vacation homes!

The bungalow is located at the Roosdunen bungalow park in Ballum on Ameland. You can walk or cycle to the village of Ballum via a public road. In the village, there is a supermarket, a number of restaurants, bike rental and the famous Nobel off-licence! The outdoor pool is 200 metres from the bungalow. The bungalow is located on the edge of the park, and you can walk straight into the forest. The beach is about a 2 km walk away. A wooded area borders the garden.

Our spacious six-person house is full of comforts and is a good base to explore the beautiful mudflat island of Ameland. There are 3 bedrooms, one of them with a bunk bed. The living room is spacious with a separate sitting area with TV and a dining area with a large dining table. The open kitchen has an oven, gas stove, fridge and more than enough dishes. There are also 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, sink and toilet. All this on 1,000 m2 of private property.

It has underfloor heating, plenty of garden furniture, books, games, toys and super fast free WIFI. In the garden is a large garden house to always sit out of the wind, sun or rain. WE ONLY RENT FROM SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY!

The small cottage sleeps 4 people. From the room, you have a beautiful view of the forest and dunes, and the beach is only 1 ½ kilometers away. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, and a wardrobe.
