Energy-neutral cozy vacation home

Wooden cottage, self-built in 2020. Mostly with recycled material. There are no less than 20 solar panels on the cottage! The beams and the ridge have remained nicely in sight, which gives a spatial effect. A stable window from the farm where Karin was born has been incorporated into the ridge. The old yellow clinkers from that farm form the terrace, along with the tiles from the basement. As a surprise, husband made a heart in the terrace for Karin! All in all a nice place to stay

In de master bedroom staat een bad bij het raam, met uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit het bad zie je Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. The cottage features a cozy living room and open kitchen, where there is underfloor heating. A TV is provided, which can only be used with the Chromecast(is present). Shower and toilet are provided. Upstairs there is sleeping accommodation for 3 people. You can also sit on our cozy porch; nice to have breakfast, eat or read a book. The garden has several cozy nooks to sit in. If you come by boat? No problem, next to the cottage there is the possibility to dock your boat.
