Beachfront holiday rentals in Antrim County

My family was ready for this this vacation, it’s been very trying times for us with sickness within our family. Maureen’s home was very beautiful and spotless when we got there. The home had plenty of room where we we’re not overcrowded. We had 3 different families, my 2 daughters and their husbands, and granddaughter, each family had their own bedroom and bathroom. Maureen house was centrally located to Traverse City, Petoskey, and Gaylord. The view was spectacular and travel to the wineries was very scenic. My 3 year old granddaughter had a blast, Maureen had plenty of toys for her and she loved the swing set. Maureen communicated very well with us and I never had to wait long a answer from her. She also had a blast in the lake as she loves the water. Maureen’s house is a very beautiful home and my family would definitely go back there. I highly recommend her house. The Rybinski family

We had a great stay here! The location is perfect and there is so much to do. We loved waking up in the mornings and watching the wildlife from the deck. Our toddler loved the sand pit and provided sand toys. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Torch lake. Ryan was a great host - very responsive who left very good instructions, recommendations for restaurants things to do in the area. The home is very clean and well supplied. The pontoon is very nice.

Our stay was amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful. We have stayed there before but I had forgotten that the home and location were wonderful. Our host is the very best that we have had in our thirty years of traveling to the area. She has every amenity necessary and is very quick to answer any questions. The views from the home are spectacular! I can't say enough to praise our host and the location. It is truly an AMAZING place to stay!

Jane was a great hostess. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and looking forward to a peaceful few days. A couple of days before our stay, Jane messaged, she graciously and proactively offered a full refund for our stay due to a destructive ice storm shutting down the internet/wifi in the area. We have the same 500 channels at home and can never decide on what to watch and we were able to hot spot. We were not disappointed there was so much more to see and do....or not do. The beach was pristine, lots of sand, shallow, crystal clear and good rock hunting. Due to the chilly weather (April) we didn't take advantage of the sports/beach equipment. All of it was in good repair, the bikes were good for bigger kids and adults, whatever you needed, bike pump etc. The fire pit area, had great chairs, the view is MI prime, and a lot of firewood, close hose, decent Weber-clean, easy to light. Timothy's place was perfect for our weekend trip. It is a very cute place, clean and it had everything we needed! Timothy was very responsive. We will definetly stay at his place in the future!

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.

Gorgeous lake property! The cabin is so cute and rustic, and definitely conveys the peaceful simplicity of days gone by. The kitchen amenities are good since we ate in many nights. The bedrooms are spaced nicely apart, were clean, comfortable and the kids especially loved the bunks with the wide assortment of books and games! It doesn't have a TV - which is a good thing - so we just used out ipads and connected to the WIFI for those times when the kids were tuckered out and just needed some quiet time. It's a great location and walkable to downtown Alden. The sunsets are stunning with lots of seating and tables outside to enjoy! Chris is very friendly and super responsive and when I sent messages, he immediately responded. A great host!! We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Torch!! (We also rented a pontoon from Chris which worked out great since we were able to enjoy the sandbar at the South end of the lake).

We loved staying at Lindsay’s property. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. With 2 children this was a perfect location to ski in and ski out. The space is very small, it is a studio, not a 1-bedroom condo, there is a huge, comfy king bed and a very good pull out sofa bed, but they are pretty tightly packed into the space. The owners provided games and books which was a nice touch. The bedding and the towels were beautifully soft and clean. The kitchen cabinets are very high up, we needed a step stool to get to any pots, pans and cups. This was available, we didn’t make a big dea out of it, we made it work, and really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this stay and definitely come again.

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place! Perfect stay for Shanty Creek and even Boyne. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room, and gorgeous views!

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

We had an awesome stay here. The location could not have been more perfect for us, as we were in town for a wedding and everyone was staying at the hotel. It was so nice to be able to walk to everywhere we went at Shanty too. The condo was super clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Very spacious. Getting into the unit was very easy and it was great to be on the main level so we didn’t have to carry our luggage upstairs. We loved the golf courses and how close they were to the AirBnb as well. It was also nice to be only a few minutes away from downtown Bellaire. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Becca’s cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Very clean, well furnished and super cozy. The cabin is right on a beautiful lake, which was frozen, but still fun to see ice fishermen. The only issue we had when we first arrived is that we had to shovel our way up the stairs to get into the cabin. Thankfully, there was a shovel thoughtfully placed by the front door by the hosts. While we were there we had considerable amounts of snow (to be expected given the time of year!) and when we needed the driveway plowed, Becca was extremely responsive and had a plow over to the cabin within 15 minutes. My family and friends really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Thank you Becca for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Holly communicated very well and answered questions very quickly. The home is beautiful and clean. Outside wild turkey and around 10 deer ran through to the valley below. It’s close to the shops and the lodge. We walked to dinner and drinks. I would definitely book again and would recommend this place and Holly!!! Thank you for a great place to stay over the weekend!!!

This was a GREAT place to rest, relax, and make memories with friends before hitting the slopes at Boyne Mountain. Plenty of space, wonderful clean home, and truly everything you could need. Chad & Shari are very responsive and quick to help!

Quaint cottage on a peaceful lake with stunning views. The cottage was comfortable (except the couch) and we easily kept it warm or cool enough. Many delightful things to do in the area: We picked peaches at King Orchard and rented a pontoon all day from Riverside Marina. (Highly recommend them!!!) Huge beach area with shallow water for children and an overall lovely lake for swimming or kayaking. We appreciated all the toys in the Toy Shed: life vests, fishing gear, floaties. I was so grateful we brought a wool blanket to put on the bed!!! It got chilly at night, even in August. There were plenty of pots and pans, dishes, kitchen utensils. It was humorous eating out of a plastic princess bowl all week, while my husband used the Spider-Man bowl :] There was not a Kuerig but there was a coffee maker with plenty of coffee and filters. Thankful we brought TP with us. We had an amazing week! People were gracious and friendly, including other guests. Very responsive hosts!

A peaceful and beautiful getaway! The cabin was a simple cozy place to hunker down in, while the lake and view was nothing short of spectacular. My girl even hooked a chunky carp while out fishing on a row boat! The place was heavenly in the fall time. Michael was also incredibly informative, letting us know about the nearby hiking trails (grass river natural area was amazing), and a nearby corner store that sells worms for fishing amongst plenty of other essentials. Would 100% return again, maybe this time during the summer!

Michael was very responsive. He had courtesy to text before coming to the cabin. He has a great personality and very friendly. The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful which is what we were looking for . We had such a relaxing time that we are planning for next years trip and staying there. We had cottage 1 and what a beautiful view of the lake. My husband was able to fish with boat provided and enjoyed himself.. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you Michael.

Excellent host, Michael & Kelly were so nice. Check in & check out was easy. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing. It is a great place for family and children. The lake is quiet and they have canoeing, kayaks as well as fishing. I recommend this resort for relaxing lakeside experiences. The shopping in Charlevoix, Petosky, Glen Arbor and Traverse City was better than Door Country. The beaches along the coastlines were also a must see.

The view from the deck is almost 180 degrees, nice dock for swimming and tiring up our boat. We appreciated the firewood for the fire pit. The house itself is definitely a cottage, not a finished home, and is described accurately. It’s comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen, lots of windows with great views. Be prepared for interior stairs to get the bedrooms and low ceilings. We were very pleased with the rental and had a great week.
