Without crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

In the log cabin, you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and a sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.
