Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Beautiful house, quietly located. Great conservatory. There is everything you need. During our stay the weather was very mixed, but with the fireplace you could get it comfortably warm. We had 2 small dogs with us, they also felt comfortable.

I was in the house with my parents and sister with 2 children. Everyone felt very comfortable from the start. The house is great and decorated with a lot of love. Nothing is missing. The house is very suitable for children, it has a lot of toys, 2 cribs, baby monitor, etc.

Unfortunately, we were only passing through, so we were only there for the overnight stay. But it was super nice, very clean and the arrangement and accessibility were great :)

An amazing location , just up from Trogen. A lovely place to stay for a quiet stay except for the cow bells. A lovely host.

We've spent 5 nights in Nicole's house with our friends, 4 couples alltogether. It is a huge house, there are rooms everywhere. It reminded us the house from "Home Alone" :) We really liked it. Though the guests must clean the house before they leave - everything was clean, nice and comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of accessories which we appreciated a lot as we love to cook. They have everything you would need for a great vacation, we especially liked the premium furniture, grill and cooking equipment and the large fridge. You can also find gorgeous surrounding, fields, forests, ruins and obviously cows and goats around the house. Ideal to have some new animal friends :) The only strange thing was that the house seems to be Nicole's family home which they rent out for the summer so they have their stuff in the cabinets, images on the wall. If you are used to stay in apartments, it can be unusual for the first time. Anyway, it was a great experience, thanks Nicole for having us!

This was a very nice and relaxed week with dog. Perfect as a starting point for hiking and close to Säntis. We enjoyed a lot!

modern, lovingly and authentically converted apartment in an old farmhouse with great views over all of Appenzell and the mountains. Nice bathroom and good kitchen - we felt very comfortable!

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful, well-kept and well-equipped apartment with large furnished terrace and great views. We enjoyed our stay in Rebstein very much and were also culinary on our account. Rebstein is well developed in terms of public transport. Since the apartment is a little higher in the slope, it is more suitable for guests with car, but not exclusively!

We spent three magical days in the Appenzel! Our kids were thrilled to have this farm experience! Thanks for your hospitality!

Very friendly hostess. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. In the kitchen, all kinds of cooking utensils are available. The bathroom has its own washing machine. Parking is very close. Although only 12 hours of parking are officially allowed here, you can also stay longer. There are also parking spaces at the recycling center. The apartment was very cozy in winter, only sometimes a little cold. That may also have been because I didn't quite understand the heating system :). The location is very quiet with good hiking and a very good restaurant in the immediate vicinity. It also has a supermarket within walking distance. I would love to come back anytime

Nicest hosts EVER. Felt like having stayed with friends in the end. I stayed there with my 14-yr-old daughter, my sister and her 7-yr-old daughter. Marie and Tillman were both extremely friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed in the apartment. When the bathroom light didn’t work we immediately got a replacement. The let us use their beautiful garden including the fireplace and garden furniture. Marie even got us some blankets when we started the fire on the first evening and when they joined us later they offered us Drinks. One day we were outside the whole day cause the weather was so nice and she made waffles for all of us. The children connected immediately and played together in the garden and went on the bikes together… We can only recommend this place and are looking forward to coming again in August!

Ernst is very communicative and helpfull person. We traveled with baby and everything, even toys, were prepared for him. He is careful. He described us his appartment properly and was ready to help us with anything. We slept there very well. I can totally recommend Ernst!

In the tiny house you can completely relax in the middle of nature. The village is also good for hiking. You have everything you need. Fresh products can be bought in the farm's own shop. Very family ambience. Breakfast is put together by the hosts themselves, very tasty!

We had a great men's weekend in nature, the Seealpsee is not far for hiking, the kitchen super equipped for cooking. Utensils are more than available in the kitchen, also oils, spices, baking paper, etc. Cozy fireplace and great fireplace for grilling.

We had a wonderful stay at Theo's! The property is in a great location, ideal for exploring the surroundings. Theo was a great host and welcomed us warmly. The place is perfect to escape the stress of everyday life and unwind. Highly recommended!

We had taken a family trip with 2 infants. Everything worked out great.
