The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

In the neighboring towns of Rorschach, Heiden, and St. Gallen, you'll find a variety of shopping options and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Parking is available. The postbus stop Hintertschwil is 1.1 km away and Degersheim train station is 2.5 km away. Having your own vehicle is highly recommended. The apartment is located at the entrance to the Wissbach Gorge and 9 km away from the Treetop Trail and 16 km from the St. Gallen Monastery.

The lovingly furnished 3rd 5 room vacation home in the middle of nature, high above the Neckertal offers a magnificent panoramic view with all-round visibility. It is quietly located and you can relax well in the garden, by the tiled stove or fireplace. It has free Wi-Fi and is also suitable for home office. The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

Panorama attic loft

The loft in the former old schoolhouse is a special accommodation and offers you an idyllic location near the forest, perfect for hiking and exploring. In the evenings it is quiet here and you can end your time in complete relaxation in the light-flooded room. In the village about 2km away you will find enough restaurants. (5min by car) In the forest there is a Swiss-family fireplace, a plant trail and for the little guests a Farytail-trail.

Hübscher Garten , Kamin für kuschelige Abende, Frühstück nach Absprache möglich ( gegen Aufpreis) , E-Ladestation nach ortsüblichen Tarif vorhanden. Für 2 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder ab 6 Jahren geeignet( auf Nachfrage). Einrichtung ist leider nicht kleinkindgerecht.

Holiday cottage on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

It is the ideal starting point for various hiking trails. There is no road to the house. The pedestrian path across the meadow is about 150 meters.
