Our place is located in the middle of the impressive Hohe Tauern and is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain landscape. There are a great many options for leisure activities: fantastic hiking trails (e.g. the Alpe-Adria Trail), bike tours along the Mölltal or to East Tyrol, and even challenging mountain bike routes through steep mountains. From Heiligenblut (12 km) begins the Großglockner high alpine road, which allows the direct view of the Großglockner with the Franz-Josef-Höhe.

Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

You will occupy the detached chalet all by yourself, privacy guaranteed! The interior is very cozily furnished. From the terrace, you have a breathtaking view over the surrounding mountains.  The garden is enclosed all around, making it also good for families with children!

Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.

The Schmidl hut was built by our family with a lot of love in 1998 and is located near the Großglockner High Alpine Road in the beautiful Mölltal. The hut is located in Putschall, 9843 Großkirchheim on the Eggerberg.
