Suitable for four (4) persons, we also have an additional unit sleeps two (2) if required (Merok Old Granary). Set in beautiful countryside, with Bangor & North Down, and Belfast all within easy driving. Dogs welcome. Recreation facilities include fitness suite.

Portloughan Cottage rural retreat with sea views

Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near the pretty village of Strangford. We are a 25min drive to the Mourne Mts, golf courses, and several beaches and 50min drive to Belfast. We are in walking distance of the National Trust's Castleward Estate. Strangford has several shops including a chemist, a newsagent, a cafe, convenience stores, pubs and restaurants as well as the ferry crossing to the Ards Peninsula. You can cycle/walk to the village through the Estate.

Converted stone barn adjacent to farmhouse in lovely countryside close to Strangford Lough, yet only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Self-catering, open plan accommodation. On the ground floor, a sitting/dining area and kitchen. On the upper floor a sleeping area with double bed , and shower room. There is also a sofa bed on the ground floor. Our 13 acre smallholding is a wildlife friendly oasis and guests are welcome to relax in the large garden or walk around the woodland and meadows.
