The porch among palm trees

Old 'alpendre' (porch) recently transformed for residential use in Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The alpendre was the house of the animals. The most valued and difficult to keep were the cows. There used to be two per property. The cows' part is now the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The goats and the donkey were housed in the other rooms that are now the bedrooms, and the current bathroom was the place where the grass was deposited for the rest of the day, as it was usually picked in the morning.

You can sleep, do yoga, play piano or simply wander around the tiny streets of this jewel of Gran Canaria.

Mary's Home is situated over a bedrock of volcanic basalt, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. (uno en Canarias?) Completely reformed and with capacity for 5 people, it has 2 bedrooms, a large living room, fully-fitted bathroom and kitchen.  Also available Free Wifi. The accommodation is also well situated - being only about 200 metres from natural sea water pools, 15 km to the city of Las Palmas and the port of Agaete.
