Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. There are three miles of trails for hiking and exploring. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is some of the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). "The Smokehouse" is a small cabin located on the 5 acre, "A Country Place". It is out in the country but only about 5 minutes to town. The cabin has a living/dinning/kitchen combined area and a separate bedroom and full bathroom. The front porch has rocking chairs to enjoy watching the deer and other wildlife while the back patio has a private hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill and outdoor dinning. Nearby are quaint shops, multitude of restaurants/cafes, wineries, breweries, zip line, etc.

Then the sun crowns the valley hills in mauve until the stars begin to make themselves visible. Slowly, a few at a time, until the entire sky is covered in brilliant stardust.

Start the new year in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres w/Lake Travis shoreline. A pastoral sunrise view towards the lake begins the day. Central A/C, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, relax in the shade of the aged oak at the cove (1/4 mile across the field). Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours.
