Perfect little West End Hideout
This self contained West End Hideout is part of a converted lower level Family Townhouse located in the heart of Glasgow's famous West End with it's own secure access and is only a stone's throw away from Botanic Gardens.THE LOCAL AREA has a good mix of small independent shops and quality high street names. It is a foodies' haven with two specialist cheese shops, butchers,whole-food shops, numerous delicatessens and stores such as Waitrose and Marks & Spencer are all within a very short walking distance. There are also wonderfully atmospheric second hand book shops, vintage and retro clothing stores, gift shops, jewellers and of course plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars.There are a wide range of places to eat from great value budget to widely acclaimed, well established restaurants. Five of Trip Advisor’s top ten restaurants in Glasgow are all within a 15 minute walk. Nearby Ashton Lane is great for visiting during the day and evening for shopping, coffee, eating, drinking and catching a film at the local Grosvenor Cinema. Music and plays can also be found at Oran Mor and Cottiers theatre with various pubs hosting more informal music sessions.

Only 30 minutes from Glasgow and seconds from the ferry to Dunoon & Argyll highlands, you can spot seals & porpoises while you watch the sun set. There's a double bedroom upstairs and comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, free private parking, and we include a wee breakfast as well. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.
