Relax in this special and quiet accommodation, picturesque village Ihlow, in the Märkische Schweiz (5km walk through the forest to Buckow), 55km east of Berlin. You can swim in the Reichenower Lake (3km) or in the Grosser Thornowsee. If you don't have a car, you can get there by bus or bicycle (18km) from Straussberg Nord station. We rent out our nice, detached cottage of about 35 m² on our property, with garden, barbecue and cozy seating area. For the colder days, it is equipped with central heating. It is a 2-minute walk from the lake, 3 minutes from the beach, surf club. The train station is 500 m away, bakeries, shopping facilities and Restaurants are within walking distance. Bus stop. For the door, Berlin is close, other lakes in the vicinity. For dog lovers, the property is not completely fenced.

The use of traditional natural building materials, mainly wood and clay, creates a unique indoor climate. The furnishings combine very contemporary living comfort with lovingly restored furniture. A lockable bicycle storage facility is available.

It isn't large but has all the comforts without being fancy. The cottage is charming and old, not a designer tiny house. Berlin's center and Potsdam can be reached quickly. Private access, balcony with water views, terrace and garden all around. Living room with kitchen, bathtub, bedroom and extra sleeping space for an extra charge on the sofa bed. We live next door, so never an access or key problem. We are on the Wall Trail. Pets are also welcome.

Quiet studio - quick to get to Berlin by public transport

Bright, friendly and quiet studio and extra bedroom with private terrace in a large garden. Ideally suited as a base for trips to Berlin and Potsdam. The train, bus and airport bus to BER are only about 350 meters away on foot. With the local transport ticket ABC, you can reach Potsdamer Platz in 13 minutes and Berlin Central Station in 16 minutes by train. Parking is available close to the property. Aldi is about 300 meters away.
