The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

The city centre and public transport (S-Bahn, bus and boat) are about 15 minutes' walk away.
