There is a fenced garden with a large trampoline, a sandbox, a fireplace, and in the summer months it is possible to set up a tent for children and adventurous characters. For adults, there is a pleasant outdoor seating, sun loungers, a parasol, a gas grill and a selection of wines. You can use the Infrared Sauna to relax.

Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the hillside directly on the forest and is only accessible by steps. The Zaukennest is designed for 2 people, simple extra bedding exceptionally possible. A laundry package (sheets/towels) can be added for a flat 25 EUR (get it yourself). The private parking lot is about 250 m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min Train station by ferry: 20 min.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.
