Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ballum

We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. Had a wonderful holiday on the island thanks to this cottage. Clean, cozy and equipped with every comfort, an ideal base for a week's vacation on Schiermonnikoog!

Stayed here for two nights with my kids. We loved the house! Very fully furnished, everything was present in the beautiful kitchen. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time!

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

We were arriving very late and Alec was meeting us with big smile on his face at 4am and there was cold beers waiting us in the fridge. This was perfect start. Place is great and canal gives something extra for this place. Owner is very helpful and answered very quickly for all our questions. We feel that all in gereral was so nice that 5 stars is too little and therefore we would like to rate our stay 6/5!

We had wonderful days! A very comfortable cottage that was not lacking, in a very quiet area, in the middle of the meadow. A short distance from Leeuwarden. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended!

Rented Edwin's place in April for a few days. Edwin was always available and ever so helpful. Next to that, the house was beautiful, spacious and clean. Great host, beautiful place!

We stayed at Liesje's place for a weekend and we were super lucky with the weather. We were able to have breakfast and long evenings on the terrace by the water in early october. A beautiful, quiet place to wind down!

We had wonderful days on Ameland with our dog. Petra's accommodation was top, with all the comforts and especially the kitchen very cozy! Ideal for hiking with the dog right from the house. And a few minutes walk to the supermarket. Beach easy to reach by car or bike.

for people who want to break from the everyday it is perfect!! We two families of 7,we decided to spend Christmas at Greta. A wise decision!! Everything is superlative,and all three bedrooms each with private bathroom is the highlight!! Thank you Greta and will definitely see you again.

Our friends weekend with 9 people was a great success thanks to the nice airbnb! Flexible hosts, customizable time for check out and tidy beds have made the stay even more pleasant. Wonderful midweek near the Noorderplantsoen. Fantastically fully furnished house, with all the comforts, including work tables in the 2 bedrooms. Boes and Annemarie have really thought of everything, there are convenient brackets, storage space, hangers, etc. Well-equipped kitchen, which we have made little use of, honestly, because there are so many good places to eat in Groningen. Among other things, a great Ukrainian restaurants a few doors away. We'd love to come back!

had a very nice midweek on Terschelling super friendly host and family the house is super nice and very modern and clean. It is immediately a nice homey atmosphere. We definitely want to come back again. Absolutely a big 10

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

Very well located Airbnb in a beautiful surrounding. We felt right at home. You can tell they put a lot of love in this place. Their home has a unique character. Thank you very much!

We slept well in the bedstee. The children also thought it was very cozy. Nice cottage, cozy atmosphere. Gas stove also makes it cozy. Magnificent views of flowering apple blossom. We were greeted by cozy chickens. Everything was just right when you looked around. Very nice!

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on the Jisselmeer. Waking up in bed was never nicer. Very quiet, super nice hosts. Despite advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket is a 5-7 minute walk daily. A cafe is almost right outside the front door.

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful, modern and well-kept apartment - and it is located in a nice area. The landlords are very friendly. In Groningen, be sure to go to the forum and the museum!

Nice spacious apartment, top location, good communication

We stayed at Lily‘s apartment over the weekend and we felt right at home. My first thought was: so beautiful! Damn, we’re only staying for 2 nights 😂 The ocean was so close 🌊 we could even see it from the couch, which was very cozy, and the apartment looked like in the photos. I’m definitely coming back! ♥️

The place was way better than the pictures. Super nice game space. Very large. The pool table was a hit. Everything you needed was there. Sauna is with plunge pool. Everything was neat. Nice extra that there were horses and could pet. Quiet area but with all the facilities you don't necessarily have to leave the cottage. We would recommend it or definitely come back.

The long weekend in the apartment overlooking the lake was beautiful. The apartment is freshly renovated and we were welcomed with drinks and some treats in the fridge. We were even allowed to borrow the canoe to ride it across the lake. Joke and her husband Martin help wherever they can. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!
