Waterfront holiday rentals in Baring

This is my second review for Kristen since we extended our stay by a few weeks. Kristen as a host and person is just wonderful. Her home is stellar. The location can’t be beat. She even helped me spot mating bald eagles building a new nest. This place ended up being our home for 5 weeks, and we were so comfortable. Thank you, Kristen!

James was a great host. We communicated well with each other and he was prompt with his replies. He gave clear instructions for getting to his place. The apartment was perfect for my husband and myself, and only 10 minutes away from family whom we were visiting. It is a gorgeous and beautiful environment. Close to trails. We had fun meandering around the property with our small grandchildren. James offered to put the rowboat in the pond which we took him up on and the grandkids had a blast being rowed around the pond (by us, not James). James was friendly and helpful. We have found our place to stay during future visits to Sultan, and are looking forward to going back.

Bed was super comfortable and host left bath bomb out as well. Great place to disconnect from the world.

Charming, relaxing, and unique! A beautiful oasis on the lake with a bubbling creek outside your door. Great location and a paved bike/ walking trail across the street that circles the lake. Linde was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. Great communication, accommodating, and her attention to details is over the top. SO many personal touches and I love that she has little handwritten notes everywhere with directions etc… I’d love to come back!

This was exactly what we needed. Absolutely beautiful location, incredible thoughtful amenities throughout the home, responsive hosts. We had the most relaxing weekend. Definitely will be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Little River House, and were blown away by the stunning riverfront views and the peaceful sounds of the Skykomish River in the background. The location is perfect! The house itself was spotless, and cozy. We spent hours playing yard games, soaking in the hot tub, and lounging by the river. Can’t wait to be back!

Place was so peaceful. Myself and three of my workers stayed there and it was 100 times better then any other accommodations we have stayed in. Glenn was quick to respond with any questions we had and directions were very clear during our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again. If there were 10 stars I would choose that. Thanks

This place was awesome. Felt right at home—like one of the family. NOTE: If you like antiseptically trendy, pristine spaces full of faux wood and IKEA furniture, DO NOT stay here. You’ll just complain and give this property less than the five stars it deserves. IF, however, you like places that bring back childhood memories of coming in off the lake so grandma can make you a pj&j, pour you some milk and put camphor on your bug-bites, this is the place. The walls are real wood paneling. The lake is beautiful and serene. There are old boardgames and even older National Geographic magazines in the hall closet. Yes, there is WiFi, Netflix, and a Keurig, but you’ll kinda wish there wasn’t. This is the place to put that behind and step back into simpler, more connected (as in, with FAMILY) times. Stay here with your family. Turn your phones off. Play boardgames, canoe, and swim. We hope to be back again for a longer stay.

Unbelievable house! Listening to the river on the giant balcony everyday was so peaceful. The house feels so remote, but it’s only a couple minutes from town! Master bedroom/bathroom were also better than the pictures! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!
