Waterfront holiday rentals in Barry County

The property was cozy and clean. Plenty of amenities. Nice little back yard with a fire pit right on the lake. Very serene. The hot tub was great. We had a family party of 8, plus a dog, and there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would stay again!

Beautiful home, even more beautiful view. Barbara was very helpful and her place is organized so well. There was everything we needed and more. Easy to get around and a couple of great restaurants nearby. This location is also close to hiking and mountain biking trails! Would totally stay again.

We were initially considering sharing the space with friends who were coming to town for the same event. While the listing says the house sleeps six, it wasn’t entirely clear what the sleeping arrangements would be, so we reached out to the hosts for clarification. They were responsive and helpful, and we learned that in order to accommodate six people, some would need to share beds, use a futon, or sleep in a bunk bed—all of which could work well for a family or a group comfortable with close quarters. There’s also just one bathroom, which was something to keep in mind for a larger group. In the end, we decided not to add extra guests, but the space was otherwise exactly what we needed. It’s a great spot, especially for a family looking to enjoy the lake and spend time together at the house.

Great place!! Clean and pleasant atmosphere. The place is as it is in the pictures!! It’s right on the lake which and wonderfully stocked for activities as well as cooking/living space. We loved it and would love to return!!

We stayed at Lake Front @ Pine Lake w/ Kayaks & Paddle Boat from April 15–19, 2025, and had such a great time! The house was super clean, spacious, and had an amazing view of the lake. There was plenty of room both inside and outside to relax and enjoy the scenery. Check-in was super easy, which made everything start off on the right foot. My son loved all the snacks they left for us and had a blast with the board games and other fun games they had available. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking really convenient. They also provided plenty of towels, covers, and pillows — we felt really comfortable and well taken care of. We didn’t get to use the kayaks or paddle boat this time, but we’d love to come back when it’s warmer and enjoy them then! Overall, it was a great stay. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to return!

Our family had an absolutely marvelous time at the Barn House after Christmas. Kathleen went the extra mile to make our time at the Barn House memorable. The Christmas decorations were beautiful! It is a lovely place to get away with your family or friends, in winter or summer. It was beautiful in December, I can only imagine how pretty the Barn House would be in the summer. Our entire family would love to return for another visit! Booking and checking in were easy and flawless. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!❤️

My family stayed here over the Christmas holidays 2024. It was so peaceful and lovely. There was even a Christmas tree! Everyone felt comfortable, kitchen was great for preparing our meal. We loved it so much. We’re booking it again for 2025. thank you!

We were looking for a place to stay not too far from Grand Rapids. This was the perfect house for us. It was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed.The large windows in the front of the house provided wonderful views of Gun Lake. As our stay was in mid- October we did not get to take advantage of lake activites but we plan to return in warmer months. That lake looks amazing! I would definitely recommend Tracy's place.
