The hideaway is nestled above a private field, in a grove of fir trees, overlooking the rolling fields of Hanham hills This hidden sanctuary provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Lie in bed listening to the dawn chorus or spend a night under the stars in our private field, the hideaway offers a truly unforgettable experience. Situated 20 minuets away from both Bristol and Bath, this hand-built hideaway is perfect for those looking for an idyllic country setting with the opportunity to explore two culturally beautiful cities. The hideaway is ideally located to provide privacy whilst offering spectacular views of the South West countryside. It has been designed efficiently to maximise space but maintains comfort and ensures a relaxing stay. Accommodating 2 guests, the Shepherd’s Hut is split into a cosy, elevated sleeping compartment with curtains and a fully equipped kitchenette/living area, beautifully furnished giving a rustic feel. Separated from the living space by a curtain, the bedroom compartment is cosy and private, boasting a large king-sized bed. The hut also provides a large adjustable , wall-mounted TV, complete with Wi-Fi, which can be watched from the living area or the bedroom. The kitchenette is perfect for preparing simple meals, offering a sink with hot and cold water, handsome wooden worksurfaces, a microwave,oven,grill, 3 in 1 a kettle, and a fridge. After preparing your meal, you can sit on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take a seat on the foldable dining chairs accompanied with a foldable dining table. On a pleasant, sunny day you can take your meal outside and enjoy the rich birdsong that fills the air whilst eating your meal. If you are lucky, you may spot the deer that roam the fields surrounding the hut. Located a few meters away from the main space is a separate hut containing the surprisingly spacious bathroom a large heated wet room complete with a W.C and washbasin. If an indoor shower does not appeal to you, the hut also provides a unique outdoor shower. Complete with hot and cold water, it is a memorable feature for you to enjoy, no matter the weather. A few steps away from the doors to the hut is a wooden staircase that leads you down into the field where you are free to roam and relax. Why not take one of the picnic blankets provided and enjoy a tranquil afternoon cup of tea on the grass or sipping the prosecco gifted to you in your Welcome Pack. Area The hideaway is in Hanham hills 2 miles outside of Keynsham. This offers the best of both worlds. It is rural but well connected as there are several main roads that run through the area. It offers lovely country walks, many close to the river Avon. There are many public houses in the area (4 within a 10 min walk and an additional 5 within a 10 min drive) as well as local supermarkets. It is located halfway between Bath and Bristol; it is half an hour’s drive to each. Both are vibrant, fascinating cities with many attractions. Bath boasts the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa and the iconic Royal Crescent. Bristol is famous for the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge and the bustling bars and cafes along the Harbourside. We are also located 20 minutes away from the outstanding National Trust Area- Dyrham Park. Supermarkets Aldi-0.5 miles Tesco Express-0.5 miles Lidl-1.2 miles Asda-1.6 miles Guest Access As a guest you will have full access to the Shepherd’s Hut and bathroom, garden area and field. A parking space will be provided for you. You will be given a key to access the Hut.

The Pretty Shed, near Bath.

Rustic, self-contained outbuilding, at the top of my garden. Private, cosy space with double bed, hotplate, kettle, heater, tea & coffee, lots of reading material and covered area for morning tea with the birds. Glamping for a fraction of the cost with electricity, but no running water. Water's provided in a 10l container, chemical flushing toilet in the same room. 20 mins from Bath, 20 mins from Wells, 30 mins from Bristol. Free road parking. Own car ideal, but 522 Bristol/Bath bus runs hourly.

Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Our traditional shepherds hut is a luxury space for a thoroughly modern getaway. The ideal place to enjoy a countryside break at any time of the year. It is discretely located in a beautiful rural setting just two miles from the centre of the City of Bath. We are a short walk to local pubs and shops and ideally positioned for walkers and cyclists with safe bike storage available. 🌱Hi🌞 Please read ALL this info and look at all the photos before you book xx 'Little Green' is a totally off grid shepherd's hut . Made from locally grown and sawn larchwood and largely fitted out from locally reclaimed timber All electric is solar generated and all water is filtered ground water, (tested crystal clear by wessex laboratories). Compost from the toilet is used for tree planting on site. She is ideally suited for single travellers or couples and couples with children.

'Deer Cabin' with stunning view & hot tub option

Deer Cabin is built for two adults and two small children. Beautifully furbished, built from a recycled train carriage with recycled wood, this new romantic accommodation is in a secluded spot with a huge sun deck. There is a wood-fired hot tub on the decking of the cabin which can be booked before your stay for an additional cost of £70 for a session (labour & wood). Deer Cabin comes with a kitchen, salon, and hot shower, all recently done up to a high standard of design.

This beautiful Shepherds Hut is located on the edge of the River Avon, 10 minutes from Bath. Included in your stay are Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Bikes so you can kayak to the pub or cycle in to Bath and create some great memories and fun photo opportunities. At the end of the day you can relax in the outdoor bath with the fire crackling overlooking the water (Large glass of wine in hand optional) The hut is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay.

City of Bath - bijou, with a walled garden!

An endearing little oasis in the heart of Georgian Bath. Really quite impossible to describe, The Studio is more than a studio, it’s really a tiny, detached, house. It is not even that tiny, there is a great bedroom area – with a king size double bed. This little house is warm and snug, bright and atmospheric all at once. The garden is walled and level with a brick paved patio with seating. We are very happy to accommodate pets or children – subject to a few house rules.

Our reviews say it all! We have been welcoming guests to Avon Farm since 2016. This is one of four beautifully hand crafted, bespoke shepherds huts by the renowned Greendown Shepherds hut. New for 2021 and comes with your own private, screened hot tub, fire pit, BBQ stand (just bring your own disposable BBQ) and log burner in the hut. The hut also has heating and shower room. Set on a 230 acre farm, along the river Avon, with plenty of pubs within walking distance.

The Cabin at Laverton, near Bath, rural setting.

The perfect place for year round breaks. The cabin is extremely comfortable, fully insulated and finished to a high standard. It has it's own patio area and guests are free to sit by the pond and enjoy the wildlife. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Countless walks & cycling routes. Historic Bath city centre is just eight miles away, with Bradford on Avon, Longleat and the artisan town of Frome even closer. We also have two friendly cats.
