Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bayshore

Caleb's house was clean, comfy, and close to groceries, shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood is very walkable...much appreciated for our dogs. The fenced back yard was a bonus. The house is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked. We felt right at home, and would stay here again.

Our 3rd time staying. No better place to be. This home makes us feel like we're at home. It's the only place we want to stay when we visit Wilmington. Michael is an outstanding host.

Marina let us book last minute and was very helpful and gave good instructions on check in and check out. Would recommend this cozy beach house to anyone.

we will definitely be staying here again! The house was beautiful inside and out. The yard was full of live oak trees which created a feeling of privacy that most other houses lack. The house was stocked with things to use in case you forget something and you simply replace ot when you leave. My daughters loved the space and we all appreciated the short walk to the beach without cross traffic. The hose was super responsive on the couple of questions I had while there and they have a binder with local restaurant recommendations. The food was amazing at every place we tried!

Will definitely be booking in the future :)

This rental was the best ever! The decor was outstanding and like a page from a House Beautiful magazine. The kitchen had everything you could need and more! Coffee lovers will be in heaven with the coffee bar and Cooks will be in love with the well -stocked spices as well as pots and pans. The bathrooms were lovely and we appreciated all the toiletries supplied. The front porch and backyard are a gem! Both are relaxing for sipping tea or having a meal. I look forward to returning to this rental when in the area! Thank you so much for all the care, love and thought that was put into this warm and inviting home!

Great place!

The kitchen was well appointed with sharp knives, pots, pans, and the like for the cooking we like to do on vacation. Best of all there was a giant stock pot that was perfect for boiling shrimp. The grill was adequate in that it worked and the burners got hot. Our kids really enjoyed the backyard with the play sand—it was their own beach while we weren’t at the beach. Chad was very responsive. While there we discovered an on going leak with the kitchen sink; he was on top of it and any other questions we had. We especially loved the proximity to the beach. There is a partial ocean view from the unit and a very easy walk to the beach (even with all our kids and beach gear). In fact, the beach access has no stairs, which makes rolling the wagon full of beach gear quite easy. The unit is also in walking distance to the town playground that our crew enjoyed as well. Thankful for a great stay and for Chad’s hospitality, responsiveness, and little extras we experienced.

Bob gave us great recommendations for everything to do while in Wilmington. We have been to this area a few times over the last three years, however this time we went to new restaurants and sightseeing which were all walkable from this central location. We only used our rental car three times over the course of four days. Two of those times were to get to and from ILM airport. The sunsets were not to miss from the balcony and Bob’s hospitality was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful getaway and visit with our daughter.

Great location with just what you need for a few nights at the beach! It's only a few blocks from everything in CB but on a quiet residential street so you can get your rest. Easy parking right in front of the house too. The place is pretty basic but the point of going to the beach is to be outside anyway! It's the perfect place to come back to after tiring out the dogs at the state park or Freeman Park.

Great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. Right on the river walk and within walking distance of plenty of shops and places to eat!

Perfect place for a solo weekend away. The bed is super comfortable and the place has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town :)

Had a short weekend stay at Skipper’s place with my boyfriend and cat. It had everything we needed for our stay, plus some. Skipper and his wife Charlotte were extremely communicative and provided recommendations for local places to eat (which were also all amazing). The house was in a quiet neighborhood about 2 minutes from beach but close enough to the main strip that food and entertainment were only a (very) short drive away.

Michael and the property were great. Looking forward to coming back again.

Pros- -Clean, well equipped house -Close to beach, boardwalk and restaurants -In a nice, quiet neighborhood - Felt safe -Responsive, friendly host and manager -Golf carts available to rent -Reasonable check out requirements Cons- -Next door neighbor's yard and pool were gross (no fault of host/property and didn't directly impact our stay) -Dishwasher and washing machine are kind of loud -Blue golf cart's battery didn't last very long

We have stayed here many times and it’s always great! Short walk to the beach and spotlessly clean! Totally safe and quiet neighborhood with great restaurants. Very close to everything! We will be back!

Kellie and Russ's place was very nice and the location for us was great. The proximity to the Fort Fisher Park, aquarium, and the ocean were great. We are already talking about going there again in the Spring of 2026. I would definitely recommend their place.

Amanda’s place was perfect for what i was seeking. I felt very comfortable, safe and relaxed at this wonderful location in a homey environment that had everything i needed for my time away from home. Thx, Amanda!!!

Well, the “storm with no name” took over our weather but we still had a great time considering! The place is exactly as described. It’s extra nice being on an end unit btw 😁. We enjoyed the pool the most!

This is a great location right across from the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. I couldn't ask for more.

We loved our stay at Carolina Beach. I would say this is a great place for folks looking for a more active beach vacation. The condo is set back a block from the beach and on the third floor so be prepared to get your steps in. We love to walk and are especially fond of Freeman Park so this worked out well for us. The closest beach access was rocky and you have to walk a ways to get to a clear stretch of beach. The place itself was clean and we enjoyed the decor. All the utilities worked great and we especially enjoyed the electric fire place for the colder winter nights. I think it was probably much quieter being that it was December as we didn’t hear or see many neighbors. We are so grateful for our stay and for such friendly, helpful hosts.

Great condo! Loved watching the dolphins at sunset from the balcony!

Everything was perfect and as described. It was a perfect quiet weekend get away.

Jan was an awesome host! The bed was one of the best weve had at an airbnb! The special touches of bathroom amenities and plenty of towels was a bonus. Having the water dispenser made our life easier. We ran into an unforseen circumstance at this rental out of anyones control and I have to say these were great hosts to have while running into a challenge. They were kind and helpful. Fantastic location. Highly recommend
