Holiday rentals with lake access in Bensafrim

We had the very best time staying at Christiane's home! In total, we spent 4 weeks here as a couple, worked 2 weeks and went on vacation for 2 weeks – both worked perfectly. Christiane was very respectful of our quiet hours, and the internet was reliable. The apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures: spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and comfortable bedrooms. The terrace offers a fantastic view of nature. There is an idyllic lake and yoga platform in the area – perfect for recreation. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Christiane was a wonderful host – always available, helpful and warm. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

We stayed at Sarah’ Villa for a family break and immediately felt that we'd found a home away from home. Nothing was missing and you find a lot of attention to details, even offering a surfboard. We especially enjoyed the large pool, evenings on the terrace and the breathtaking nature surrounding the villa. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Great property, cats, dogs, horses, pigs, pool, table tennis … everything that big and small desire, wonderful tranquility and yet the beach is not too far away, we can only recommend

Just back from a great week at Casa 38. The place was even better than the pictures and couldnt have asked for much more. The hosts were also really helpful with lots of great, local recommendations. Will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful stay! Cornelia made my birthday very special including a wonderful breakfast and dinner she made! She gave recommendations for the most beautiful beaches surrounding the area! The property is stunning and we were greeted by her 3 adorable dogs!

We had a lovely family stay at this apartment, even though the weather wasn’t on our side. The apartment itself is charming and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the outdoor shower next door—it’s a nice touch for warming up after a cool dip. The place is a bit on the pricier side, but it does offer a cozy atmosphere. One of our favorite features was the fireplace. While it doesn’t heat the place significantly, it adds a really warm and welcoming ambiance that we enjoyed throughout our stay. The location is great for exploring the area by car. Everything is easy to reach, and the surrounding landscape is truly beautiful. There are wonderful hiking trails, stunning beaches, and best of all—not too crowded. We can imagine it being even more amazing in better weather, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot with good access to nature.

Fantastic little flat walking distance from the old town of Lagos. Very clean and friendly host! Lovely to look onto the harbour and be walking distance from such great places. Would easily return. The flat had everything needed and was bigger than the pictures.

Great location, balcony with sea view, modern and tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, 2 elevators. The market and all supermarkets are within easy walking distance. Immediately behind the building in which the apartment is located is the old village of Armação de Pêra with numerous cafes and snack bars, where you can participate in Portuguese life among locals and enjoy the relaxed tranquility with coffee and pastel de nata or Pão de Deus. From the apartment to the beach with numerous fishing boats and the tourist gastronomy it is only 100 meters, so top location! Communication with Vanessa was very warm, upon our arrival there was a bottle of wine as well as jam, nut-nougat cream, capsules for the coffee maker, vinegar, oil, salt etc. at the table. A service we have rarely experienced and we have been to the Algarve very often. It couldn't have been better. Thanks for the hospitality! I would be happy to come back.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Pedro's. loved how bright & airy it was. Would liked to have stayed a bit longer. It had everything we needed. Eventhough it's very close to the main square & all the shops & restaurants along the way, it still feels very quiet. Will definitely be back. Thank you Pedro.

This apartment has a terrace with a wonderful view of the coast and beach. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to Old Town. There is a very nice market also within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay.

The appartment was roomy with 120sqmeters. Beds & matresses were in good condition, even with comfy toppers. everything was in good condition and working perfectly. the host, Miguel Rodrigues is by far the nicest host we had in our many years with Airbnb. He is not only very kind and caring, but also helpful in order to have the best experience in a new place. we really appreciated his info re. places to go, restaurants and places to visit. he made our stay just so very great! we look forward to come again.

We loved our stay here. Loved how close it was to the beach. We found Felicidade’s instructions very clear on access to the apartment. She gave some great recommendations on places to eat. The pools were brilliant & the kids loved the kids pool. The apartment itself was so clean & spacious. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

The apartment was as advertised. It is a great size and offered everything we needed. Great location, all local sights and amenities are walkable.

Truly fabulous month long stay. Internet was a little wonky but only people who are remoting in would even notice because when the Internet goes in and out, most people wouldn't even notice - only those people remoting into another connection. But literally everything about this place was perfect. Wonderful space exactly as described and perfect communication with Paulo. He was extremely impressive with interactions as we needed them. He's truly the best and the apartment is PERFECT. I would go back 100 times.

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

To use just one word to describe Jan home: wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful place, close to nature and away from busy cities then this is your place to stay. It has everything you'll need and perhaps Jan you'll do his best for more if needed. To us, his home was a piece of heaven and it did reminded me of my grandparents place when I was a young and spend the time summer holidays with them. Here you have orange trees and all you have to do is to pick one or two and enjoy them. Oh, I shall not forget Odin (the Cat). He gave us a big welcome in the first day but because we made the mistake not to allow her inside he completly ignored us during the stay. We had the 2nd chance on the last day when he joins us a for a breakfast! :-) Things to mention: you'll need a car (not a low small car but rather a mini SUV perhaps) as it's not close to a bus or train routes. Good Wifi receptions. We will return for sure as there is so much to see around. Thank you Jan for hospitality!

We had a wonderful time at Jan's place. The garden with natural pool are laid out with great effort and care and prepare a unique experience in quiet nature. This place is excellent for just unwinding for a few days and experiencing the beautiful hinterland of the Algarve. Thank you!

This was the best house we have stayed in around the Aljezur/Arrifana area. This was our 3rd visit to the area and we stayed at Marta’s on a friends recommendation. There are even peekaboo views of the ocean. The house is non-corporate in every good way. There is an ancient piano in the living room - and it was correctly tuned! There is local art and the furniture is not just ikea cheap stuff. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The area is great - kind of in between two different beaches. You can drive 3 minutes to a bunch of restaurants or walk 10 minutes to a few others at the roundabout. We did a run in the morning and there’s even a lake about 5 minutes away. All very peaceful, no traffic. We would happily stay here again.

I've stayed at Anabela's a few years back and loved it that I came back this year. Anabela is lovely and she has uograded her place in the kast years with apool area. I love the remote Location and the mood around her place, Its is cosy with many places to hang out in hammocks. You can BBQ, there is even a Pizza oven. I can only highly recommend this charming house.

Casa Gaisma was paradise in the mountains, located in between fruit trees with only sound of birds and the dogs in the valley communicating with each other. Gaisma and Jörg are really friendly and helped with everything we needed. The two dogs living next door were like a family to us, always coming over when we got home after the daytrips and there in the morning to say good morning and seeing if we were having something good for breakfast that they could get a taste of 😍 The surrounding is filled with fruit trees that we could picked off and enjoyed. The bed is comfy and we asked for a fan to get a little bit better air in the bedroom over the nighttime. We always had geckos and frogs in the outdoor space - the frog even jumped in my hand 🤩 and one night we had the adventure to have a visit from a scorpion (wich Gaisma helped us with because we are not used to them). It is just a short drive to visit the beautiful beaches all around and the small towns in the mountains. Loved it

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

What a special place! In the mountains and so beautiful. Jacqueline and her family were really nice and generous with their time. Definitely would come back again.
