Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

The beautiful 'Le Petit Chateau', at 'La Tuilerie de la Roussie', originally built in 1551 is entirely yours to enjoy. Ideally situated on the bank of the River Vézere in the pre-historic area known as the 'Vallée de L'Homme' between the fascinating town of Les Eyzies and market town of Le Bugue. To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. Or simply relax around the heated swimming pool on luxury sun loungers.

Nearby is an 18-hole golf course, the Dordogne Valley, the Vézère, its many castles (Castelnaud, Les Milandes, Beynac, Biron, Hautefort, etc.) Caves: Combarelles, Maxange, Font de Gaume, Tourtoirac, Rouffignac, Lascaux etc... The pigeonnier is a newly renovated apartment, set in beautiful grounds. It is a relaxing space within Laugerie Basse Gites with 5 separate gites. Come along and enjoy the peace and tranquility, it looks out onto the beautiful gardens and a stunning swimming pool which is heated May/June/September. This apartment is suitable for two people. it is not suitable for children /infants or for people with mobility issues as the gite has stairs. However, my 4 other gites are suitable.

You have access to a 10x4M heated pool (from 5/1 to 9/30). Mandatory end-of-stay cleaning: €25 to be paid on site.

Situated in the Vezere valley in a tiny beautiful hamlet of 4 houses and about 150 meter from the river the Vezere. Private pool. From the house you can take beautiful walks in the woods, swim, canoe, horse and pony rides within walking distance, play golf and make fantastic bike rides
