Cozy cottage with sea view on Nynäs before Oknö. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation with private plot about 100 meters to the sea, close to swimming and nice hiking areas. Close to restaurants and grocery store. In bad weather, we have a water-palletized bathhouse inside central Mönsterås. The cottage is well insulated, so you can stay there in the winter. The whole house was newly renovated in 2024. There are two parking spaces on the property, so it is possible to bring a boat if you are going to fish in Mönsterås Bay. No parties and smoking inside.

Exceptional cottage next to the alvar

Right next to the Alvar in the small row village is this former emergency cottage next to our house on the farm. We also run the yarn shop "Sticka på alvar". In the spring, the orchids bloom richly here. Several interesting historical sites are within walking distance, such as Dröstarp's deserted village. We have hens, five cats and two dogs. The house is from 1899 but has all the modernities. Barbecue area outside. Here, it is quiet and peaceful. In Gårdby, about 2 km away, there is Eksgården, which is a first-class restaurant, as well as Gårdby café

Cottage with lake property and its own beach and dock. 3 bedrooms, 1 room with a double bed, 2 rooms each with each a bunk bed, and a sofa bed for 2 people in the TV room. Shower and toilet with own well and water heater. NOTE, washing machine is missing. Guests needs to bring own bed linen and towels. Access to a hot bath (39 degrees Celsius) all year round with circulation for purification. Use of a rowboat is included, bring your own life jackets. The cabin is smoking-free and pet-free! ATTENTION, not for partying groups!

You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-burning stove, a sauna in the woods and the cat Doris will be happy to stay with you if you want company.

Iron Man Kalmar The apartment is highly appreciated by previous participants since it’s located just 3 km away from the starting point of Iron Man Kalmar. For you who aren’t participating in the race, the location is even better. It’s just a couple of hundred meters from both the cycle course where the triathletes pass two times (1 lap, both directions) and the running course where the triathletes pass six times (3 laps, both directions).

This village is located along the eastern road but still secluded thanks to the garden. Proximity to the sea, Strandtorp or Bjärby-badet not more than a few kilometers away and only 15 km to the bridge and barely 30 km to Kalmar makes it suitable for many different day trips.
