The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Cilcain is a small, but well-appointed new cottage, next door to, but detached from, our old farm cottage. Set in peaceful surroundings, with views. Ideal for 4 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, whether wanting to walk, cycle, explore, or have a quiet break. Set between the Cambrian mountains and the sea - 10 miles from the coast. Y Beudy - Wheelchair & Dog Friendly

Y Beudy is one of our 2 cottages, along with Y Bwthyn, it is a ground level cottage, converted from a stone cowshed with wheelchair access. Open plan lounge with log burner and kitchen/diner, double bedroom, bunk bed bedroom, wet room bathroom & original vaulted ceilings & beams throughout. With a private, enclosed, dog friendly, south facing garden, the views are beautiful. Red Kites circle overhead & the entire property is surrounded by farmland, with 5 acres of our land for you to explore.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

We are close to many of the areas best attractions including the Ceredigion coastal path, numerous beaches, Fantasy Farm, the award winnings harbour town of Aberaeron, University town of Lampeter and the beautiful Aberystywth. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

As well as many guests visiting the likes of the elan valley, devils bridge and may other walking spots.
