Apartment holiday rentals in Big Boulder Lake

My family and I rented Jonathan's place as a long-term rental during ski season. We wanted to be close to Big Boulder given our involvement in the race program and the place could not have been more conveniently located (it was also great being able to walk to Boulder View Tavern for apres ski!). The unit was just like it was described, and Jonathan was always incredibly responsive if we ever needed anything. This place became our "home away from home" for ski season and we were truly sad to pack up on our last day. Highly recommend both this unit and Jonathan (I believe he has other properties) to anyone considering a stay in the Poconos. Fantastic experience and absolutely wonderful host!!

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

This is our 3rd year staying at the house for our family's winter getaway. The location is absolutely perfect and the view is just breathtaking. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything we need. The communication prior and during our stay was on point, responsive and super helpful. We can't wait for next year! Our stay at Megan’s and Duane was an absolutely beautiful experience, the Condo is quiet and felt so safe, the view from the porch overlooking the Lake is truly an experience, absolutely gorgeous, really loved my week in Lake Harmony.

Our stay at the apartment was wonderful. The host took care of our comfort. Also, the location itself made us very happy, because from the terrace you can see wonderful views. We will definitely come back here more than once.

I had an amazing experience staying at Vacasa's place! The apartment was exactly as described – clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to JFBB ski mountains, restaurants and I loved how quiet and peaceful the area was. What really made this stay special was the host. Vacasa went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, offering great recommendations and ensuring that I felt welcome and at home. Communication was smooth and prompt, which made the entire process seamless. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The host was really responsive and was able to accommodate our last minute booking after our other place canceled on us. The place was clean and cozy. We would definitely come back.

Condo was very clean, well stocked (our kids loved the toys and games!!l and in a phenomenonal location. Pool area was beautiful and very well kept. You are able to get guest passes to Boulder Lake Club (kayaking, etc) for an extra fee.

Our stay at this house was great! We definitely made it our home for the weekend. We are a loud bunch (respectively), just talking, laughing, a little karaoke. We had no complaints. 😁 We appreciate the games that were supplied & all the necessities for our cooking needs. My boyfriend did laugh at the T.Vs being small, but we weren't there for that. We had a blast! Thank You! #greatmemories❤️

Overall we had a lovely stay. Beautiful lakeside views. The home was cozy and clean. A few things- the kitchen did not have basic cooking ingredients, such as cooking oil and pepper. We also only had 2 rolls of toilet paper provided and ran out before the end of our stay. We did not realize from the listing that the lake access would be an extra charge. We assumed staying at the house we would be able to enjoy the lake without an extra fee. It was clear that the kayak/ sport rentals would be an extra charge, but the beach access did not seem to be explicitly stated. Maybe that was our misreading, but just a heads up for anyone else… In addition, the door code provided did not work upon arrival. We had to call and send a picture of our ID in order to get a different code to enter the property.

Our family had a great time at the lake house. We loved that there were bathrooms for each bedroom. The bathroom and kitchen areas were spotless. Loved the selection of games. The house was well stocked but must bring your own soap and shampoo.

This property was not available due to a maintenance issue so we were booked at a similar condo in the same development. We enjoyed the lake view and the pool. The swim beach was close but you have to drive a few minutes to get there, and we didn’t check it out this time. The condo was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of towels and linens, cleaning supplies, and laundry soap. Some of the activities we enjoyed with approximate travel times were 1) fish and pay lake (20-30 minutes away), 2) scenic train ride at Jim Thorpe (30 minutes away) 3) Bushkill Falls (1 hour) 4) Crayola experience (1 hour).
